Really should have read the reviews first- 3 steaks all cooked the same but 1 blue on arrival. £25 for a sirloin is far too much. Roast lamb fatty. Service average. Puddings the best bit but wouldn't return. Go to live and let live 5 minutes away instead.

I visited here on 4/8/16 with friends. The service was good, the staff friendly add the beer excellent. However we all agreed that the food was over priced (£16 for fish & chips and £9.50 for a ploughmans) and very average.

With really great food, stopped by chance cam back a week later - says it all really. The use of local produce, ales etc is the exceptional part, along with the staff. Nothing fancy just genuine good drink, food and welcome

We had gone to Leominster for the day, and were looking for somewhere to have lunch where we could take our dog. We were welcomed into the bar are where there were plenty of places to sit and eat. The waitress brought over a couple of menus and I have to say, I was surprised at the amount of choice....

Visited on holiday and found it to be very poor with extremely rude staff. Definitely not friendly, with no consideration of young families. Won't be visiting again. Would recommend avoiding and finding somewhere more friendly with better facilities

Parts of the hotel are very old and its beginning to show, mainly in the bedrooms and bathroom. The restaurant is very nice but mid week the menu is limited, it appears most customers are happy to eat bar food in the bar. Not surprised as the food quality is good and the bar food is fairly priced. The beer...

Invited to join friends here for lunch. The Inn is beautifully kept inside and out and quite quirky. A lovely old pub, parts are almost original and other areas are modern. All well kept and sparkling clean. A good menu and interesting specials. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly and home made. Our first visit but we will often make...

This place is in a lovely location and the food was good. We had a light bite style supper. What spoilt it for us was the angry, rude woman behind the bar. She had clearly had a long day and really wanted to take whatever was wrong with her out on the customers that came in. We would never return...

The Talbot is rather typical of Leominster generally, old world charm not immediately evident but discovered with a little exploration. The staff were really excellent. They were all very helpful and friendly and made this a good place for us to use as a base for walking the Hereford Way.
