I have visited this hotel a number of times, and every visit has been brilliant, but our recent visit this month was exceptional, the service and hospitality was great, and food and drinks were definitely to standard, and the rooms are more than accommodating. All in all a great hotel in great surroundings with a great sevice and I'm sure...

I cannot fault any part of our stay at this hotel. We stayed as a family of 4 which include two young children, everything we requested as part of the booking was in place for when we arrived. The hotel and restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They interacted with the kids very well...

Went there for a family get together and the staff were brilliant as soon as we got there and very helpful. Rooms were ready on time, clean & tidy. All essentials in the room. Reasonably priced food and drinks and a great breakfast. Will be going again

We booked 3 rooms for a 1 night stay as this seemed to be one of the most attractive hotels in the area. The building is lovely but the reception area was a big disappointment. To be fair they were decorating so it may look better once completed but they will need new furniture. Our room was so dark as...

Upon arrival we found a parking spot on the hotels own parking lot which is big and free of charge. The check in was a little confusing and we asked for a table in the hotel restaurant. The check in clerk had to go and ask and offered us a table at 6.30 - it was 6.35 already. But that...

Had a one night stopover at this hotel. Room met expectations and breakfast was fine. I think the staff struggled to meet breakfast demand but did cope extremely well with polite customer service along the way. Only gripe was a glass of wine was £5.20 for a bottle that looked like it cost a lot less and we paid for...

We arrived at 12 noon not having been told what the check in time was. The receptionist was very pleasant and offered us coffee while we waited for our room to be made ready, which she then charged us for. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift but help with our suitcases was very readily...

Recently stayed in the hotel for one night. The price is what attracted us to book and the hotel website pictures convinced us. On a arrival the outer of the hotel came across as dated and once inside this didn't change. Once checked in and making our way to our room on the 2nd floor the comparison we made was...

I'd booked this hotel as part of a coach tour group. Having read some of the negative reviews, I was a little concerned but thought I would see for myself. It's a lovely, clean, comfortable hotel with pleasant helpful staff who are eager to help. As others have said, there are no lifts but they do have a chair lift...
