We stayed at this hotel in the family room with our two young children during a weekend. The room itself was a good size with sufficient room for all of us with comfy beds, AC, and facilities including having an iron and iron board which is always a bonus. The function room was extremely well decorated for the themed party...

Excellent service, fantastic staff! Stayed on numerous occasions, staff always willing to help and advice on local attractions. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, breakfast has a lathe selection of hot and cold food and is also unlimited.

We won a one night stay at this hotel as part of a game show prize. Location wise it is perfect if you are visiting the safari park literally down the road. Service was a bit lacking, we arrived at 1.30pm but couldn't check in till 2 which wasn't an issue however it was the lady on receptions attitude, no...

We stayed recently for four days and the room was nice. Good size bed. Did not include breakfast it is not free £7.95 pp but it is full English even with baked beans. Eggs cooked to order. The room air conditioner did not work repeatedly asked if they could fix it. Unfortunately they couldn't or wouldn't. Gave us a fan...

Haven't been here before, but a true hidden gem. Attended as wedding guests and the hotel was lovely. The rooms are all well decorated and spotless. The staff couldn't be more helpful. A wander around the extensive gardens is essential. Aircon in room kept us cool on a hot summers evening. Will definitely be back.

After sadly losing a dear friend suddenly I needed a night to relax away from home the day before his funeral. Although unaware of my reasons to stay the Gainsborough was warm and welcoming, my room spotless with a big comfy bed. I ordered steak chips and salad with a large glass of rosé to my room and enjoyed a...

I travel extensively for business and this hotel in terms of service is the worst i have stayed in. On the first night i had a steak meal in the restaurant, which was very tough to chew, and at £16.95 expected it to be at least reasonably good, when the waitress enquired how was your meal, i informed her how dissapointed...

We've stayed here numerous times and I can not fault it! It's a great place to stay, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the meals are great. We also had our dads 65th birthday party here which was awesome and the manager Danny was very helpful.

Stayed here last Friday having been gifted a overnight stay with a three course meal and breakfast. The hotel itself is lovely but the room was amazing, very spacious with a lovely clean bathroom. The meal was delicious and staff friendly and polite! And the same can be said for breakfast! I can't recommend this hotel highly enough! Will definitely...
