Two night stay. Warm and friendly welcome by receptionist who showed us to our room. Sunday lunch in the busy restaurant provided us with excellent food and service. Breakfast next day another great dining experience. Lovely hotel with great staff and an excellent kitchen

We called in here for a drink on a rainy visit to Castle Combe (beautiful village) - lovely atmosphere, excellent, welcoming service, good choice of food available and it looked very appetising. My husband had one of the cream teas and he said it was delicious especially the jam! Would love to stay here at some point.

I went to the Castle Inn for a weekend with my boyfriend. Staff was really welcoming and helpful at all times, everyone incredibly nice. Kat at the reception was a sweetheart and all waiters were amazing from beginning to end. We had pre booked dinner and the food was great. Sadly the lamb was a bit cold, staff was ready...

I visited the Castle Inn last Sunday for lunch with a group of friends, the occasion being to celebrate the birthday of one of us. The staff were very welcoming and our table by the open log fire very cosy. We were very surprised and delighted when the waiters brought along our desserts together with a lit candle and joined...

Four of us all had a lovely roast meal last Sunday. I was particularly pleased that the puddings were a managable size, rather than the usual monstrousity which ruins the whole meal. Another good point was the carpets reducincg the background noise. We received a warm welcome and the staff were attentive throughout. Roast poatoes were scrumptious and I would...

I booked a room at the Castle Inn in December as a get away treat for my husband and our visit really didn't disappoint. Castle Combe is like something out of a movie set and the Inn is all part of it. On arrival we had been upgraded to a four poster room and the bottle of champagne was there...

I can't think of a single issue with this wonderful hotel. Set in one of the country's most idyllic villages, the building itself is beautiful. The interior is tastefully decorated and our double bedroom was full of character including an exposed beam ceiling. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel which were delicious. But what really stands this...
