What a lovely experience. The bar area is very welcoming - cosy with fire and nice ambience. Waiter was very polite and efficient. Had lunch here and it was delicious. Roast beef baguette yum and husband had broccoli and Stilton soup that was beautifully hot. Very enjoyable and relaxing set in an amazing little village.

Before I say anything else, this is a favourite bolt hole for us and we love it. We have stayed here several times. We stayed here last on a cold but bright November day. The Receptionist gave us a very warm, smiley welcome. I am always of the opinion that the first person you meet at a business should be... More

Just spent two nights with my wife in the Castle Hotel Castle Combe Wilts. The room was just what you would expect in an old world village, it was beautiful. Both breakfast and dinner were very good and the staff were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Overall an excellent experience.

Stayed for one night on a celebration package. Room was perfect, spacious and very comfy bed. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the food both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Fresh, filling, full of flavour, beautifully presented and great choice. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be returning. Thank you

12 of us turned up for a coffee break and the staff found for us a lovely secluded lounge area where we enjoyed beers, coffees, teas etc and the most amazing cakes and scones. Very friendly and helpful staff and very unique flowered rest rooms.

the Castle Inn is a beautiful Inn, with luxurious rooms and the most amazing comfortable beds. The food is excellent and staff are very helpful and efficient. Castle Combe itself has to be one of the prettiest villages in England. We would highly recommend staying and look forward to our next anniversary trip in 2017.

Having spent a lovely day in Castle Combe we booked a table for 4 at the Castle Inn. It was a quaint restaurant in a pretty location. The food was of high quality and presented well. However, the portions were smaller than expected, especially the scallops. Therefore the bread on the house was greatly appreciated. The staff were friendly and... More

Using Secret Escapes we took a one night break at The Castle Inn Hotel and were very impressed. Friendly staff everywhere, great food and super comfortable rooms. Thoroughly recommend a break here, great atmosphere especially at this time of year, no crowds and plenty of time to enjoy yourselves.

We booked an executive room through Secret Escapes but found the room allocated was nothing such. We were given a room that was furthest away and difficult to get to. Also the room was small with one chair. The bathroom although big had issues as the shower handle was loose and dangerous . We had a problem getting hot water.... More

We stayed for 1 night on a Secret Escapes special. Parking is difficult with restrictions throughout the village. We struck lucky & managed to park outside overnight for free! Parking is available at a nearby hotel (possible charge). Our room was full of character, but the bathroom was rather small, with a shower over the bath and hand basin in... More
