Stayed on Saturday night on the ground floor near the front door and car park noise was not to bad a bit of noise from the burger king up until 10.30 then quite no light's working in the car park which is bad as the slip road from the garage to the main road runs past the hotel and made... More

Booked several months in advance and got a great deal. Easy to book, easy to pay, lots of paperwork eailed direct very quickly (confirmation data, address, etc) Arrived & car park was full but we found a space. Receptionist was friendly and professional. Needed a 2nd set ot towels & the request wasn't a problem for her to deal with.... More

Stayed for 2 nights during a visit to friends. Room was OK, toilet seat was loose, extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom and never had our room cleaned after the first night. Had to go to reception and get clean towels and more tea, coffee and milk after a long day at a funeral. Mentioned it when we checked... More

This weekend we stayed at Travelodge Amesbury, room was excellent, such a comfy bed, spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly. DEFINATELY recommend it. This is the first time we have stayed at a Travelodge and would certainly do so again

I came to Amesbury, with my family, to visit Stonehenge and Longleat. The travel lodge was well situated to do both and reasonably priced to be affordable. The family room was spacious and clean. The main bed was very comfortable but the children's beds left little to be desired. They were lumpy and uncomfortable. Half the lights and the extractor... More

Had a very good nights sleep in a clean and comfortable room. The staff are very friendly, in particular Frances who was very helpful when I enquired about eating places in the local area. Very convenient location for visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge.

Functional budget motel. Only problem was stray hairs on the bed sheet- presumably from whoever adequate the bed up. Easily removed but not pleasant. A Little Chef and Burger King next door + petrol but otherwise nothing - a 10 min walk via subway to Amesbury and no easy cut through our a short note pavement stretch.

The usual clean and comfortable room from Travelodge. However, the room was freezing when we arrived which made getting ready for the evening unenjoyable. Then it was too hot during the night. The bathroom was using a shower mixer via the taps which seems very archaic. Trying to change the temperature during a shower is always entertaining. We had a... More

Late at night, too tired to carry on driving, I arrived without a booking. The warm, professional and helpful welcome was incredibly welcome. Frances took care to make sure I had a quiet room, lent me her mobile phone as I had lost mine. The room was spotless and comfortable. Really would recommend this motorway hotel. The Wi-Fi is free...
