The grand old Crescent Hotel has a beautiful three storey semi-circular shape that curves across the corner of Brook Street and the A65 Leeds Road. There’s no car park. The inn fills the ground floor to the right of the entrance. I had a pint of Ghost Wraith (£3.30). It was agreeable enough but a bit lifeless – maybe the...

Hotel was old style on the outside but very classic and modern inside. The room was large and well maintained. The bed was huge! Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. Full English before the walk on the moor. Sadly I missed trying the roasted bulb of garlic in the bar as a snack! Staff very pleasant too. Would highly recommend.

We have just returned home after a two night stay in Ilkley to celebrate my 60th birthday. We chose to stay at The Crescent Hotel primarily for its location near our restaurant of choice, The Box Tree, and also because it's recently been extensively renovated. It really did live up to its reputation as a lovely unassuming boutique hotel. The...

We loved this hotel! Each room.is named after a nearby village. Home from home. Beautifully furnished. It is on a busy junction but sound proofed we sleeped just fine. Breakfast was really lovely as was our lunch in the pub. Staff really friendly.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here recently whilst visiting the box tree for food. It's a little confusing on arrival where to go, you check in at the restaurant but once we got to the room it was really nice. Nice decor, lovely bathroom with an amazing shower, clean, plenty of space for all your stuff and water/tea provided. I...

We did not stay the night in the hotel, but simply had lunch in the Bistro Restaurant. This was excellent French cuisine. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was well prepared and well presented and the Menu fixe was excellent value for money.

We stayed at The Crescent for a night. This is a small boutique hotel. Each room is named after a place in the Yorkshire Dales. The decor in the rooms was lovely. We had various beautiful pictures/photos of Bolton Abbey. The bed and linen was super comfy. The bathroom spacious with lovely marble features. Despite being on a main road...

Have just got home from a three night stay here. We had two rooms both were superb. One had a view over the church and from the other you could see the moor and White Wells. Breakfast and dinner were good and the staff were friendly and helpful - nothing to complain about at all, really!!!

We always used to stay at Rombalds Hotel but that has sadly closed. The Crescent Inn is a great alternative and a bit easier to walk to as you don't have to ascend Wells Road. The reception isn't obviously identifiable - you have to go in to the Bistro. The room (Appletreewick) was spacious and roomy. The bathroom was excellent...
