Stayed at Gomersal Lodge Hotel for one night, and the room I was given was an absolute disgrace. Started off being put into room number 4. No wardrobe to hang clothes, no draws to put clothes in, no chair to put clothes on. Asked for an immediate move, and was given room 6. Room 6 was an absolute disgrace!! There...

The title says it all, because you couldn't get any lower. Than whale waste. On arrival, I waited to check in for 15 minutes until I encounted the receptionist/night porter who appeared to be on day release. The man appeared disgruntled as he hopped around the hotel murmuring what sounded like foreign slurs. I was brought forth to my room...

Having started a new job with the opportunity to travel I was excited for my first night away. On arrival I spent 15 mins driving up and down the road as the hotel was advertised as The Orchard from the road. There is no reception on arrival I was lucky to bump into a member of staff on arrival as...

Arrived and was only provided with one towel and shower set even though there were two of us - clearly the room hadn't been prepared. The bathroom was filthy! Stains on the shelves and in the sink and shower. To top it off someone had swept a big pile of dirt into a pile and placed the bathroom bin in...

To call this place a hotel is a stretch. I was actually surprised that there was someone there to give me a key and that there was a lock on the door. The check in steward hardly spoke English and seemed very surprised to see me; pretty sure I was the only one there. He watched his tv on loud...

This is not Hotel. The owners have sepertated the businesses, focussing on the restaurant with little regard to the rooms; so, no reception - as the barman reminded me on several occasions 'the Hotel is a seperate business' - so any problems cannot be resolved within this building - they have sister hotel up the road for that! My room...
