My wife, my 4 year old son, and I recently stayed for 3 days at the lovely Posada Azul. We had such a nice time and found the inn and staff to be completely charming. The location of the inn is perfect-just a block from the beach and in the heart of San Juan del Sur. Every place you could...

Being a hotel owner from Costa Rica I look for certain signs of quality in a hotel and not necessairly in the size of a hotel. I needed to exit Costa Rica for 3 days for my 90 day Visa requirements and found this hotel to be wonderful choice with a friendly staff ready to attend to my needs. The...

Stayed in this hotel for 10 days in 2010 and again in 2011...and would stay here again, and again, and again! This small 7 room hotel is clean, friendly, safe and totally relaxing. Each morning, breakfast included with the room, is served on a covered porch with a southern-Georgia type feel and flair! The gardens are lush and full of...

we stayed here for 2 nights- the place is nice and clean, the rooms were below average for the US but probably what is to be expected for a surf town in nicaragua. it had a safety deposit box and filtered water with normal pipes (i.e. you can flush toilet paper). the pool is clean and refreshing; a tad small...

Great setting, Wonderful staff. Simple but elegant. Nice location just a few steps from the action but very quiet. Pool and garden area are so nice you won't want to leave.

The "Blue Inn" reminded us of B&B's in the South with its wide veranda and individual porches. The pool and fountain are wonderful and the little amenities such as the "honor bar", filtered water and pitchers, and coffee/tea cupboard were added pleasures. Breakfasts are delicious and always included special treats such as muffins or raisin bread french toast. The staff...

We were a family of 13 who stayed at the hotel. We highly recommend this place if you want a 5-star quality service. The breakfast was excellent and the people made us feel at home after enjoying ourselves at the beach, which is a few steps away. The price was perfect too. The noise level is none since it is...

Close to the beach road but quiet, simple clean rooms, very nice pool area to relax, the kitchen staff were all incredibly friendly and made beautiful fruit plates to start the full breakfast. Handled our special dietary needs with no problem and a smile. They arranged airport pick-up and transportation to the ferry for our next destination.

I have stayed here multiple times and keep going back because it is so fantastic. The rooms are clean, full bathrooms, comfortable sheets, great pillows. The pool is super nice to relax by, as is the shaded seating near the honor bar. The location is ideal, just steps from the beach and the main drag - but not right on...
