As it was NY the rooms were more expensive than normal. I'd definitely recommend staying here, the hotel was small and nicely laid out. The rooms were comfortable, clean, good AC and with a safe. The rooms were cleaned daily and pool towels provided. There is an honesty box for drinks and snacks which I always find useful. The breakfast...

Really great place to stay. The best breakfast of 3 week trip to Nicaragua. Good WIFI, safe in room, air con, hot water and confy beds made our stay a pleasure. We had the delux room which gave us a portch overlooking the pool. Definitely worth it.

La Posada Azul is a cute boutique hotel in busy SJDS. The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is included and it was one of the best meals I had my entire trip. Absolutely delicious! Great place to relax and explore SJDS.

La Posada Azul (The Blue Inn) in San Juan Del Sur is where I go for my 72 hours to get my 90 day stamp for Costa Rica. The staff here are great and very helpful. There is a local Artists store in this six room motel with a lap pool and a pool side bar. Breakfast is included and...

Our last stay in Nicaragua ... and also very good. Nice small location with very authentic elements. Nice staff. Very good breakfast, very convenient sitting area around the pool Rooms were noisy, especially close to the street.

Amazing, beautiful, tranquil in the city. The room was clean but smelled like it was just fumigated. We got over that once we had a swim in the pool and a nice breakfast. Just feet from the beach. I really appreciated the locked and guarded gate overnight.

I heard from many Nicaraguans that this was the best place to stay in San Juan del Sur. Keep in mind that this is not a hotel, it is an old wooden home converted into a bed and breakfast. Pros: good breakfast, little plunge pool, slice of history, A/C worked well, nice public areas to sit. Cons: small room only...

Location: Although a bit on the fringe of the town, it's more than close enough to the beach and any bars, restaurants and shopping you want to do since the town is so small. Grounds: The entrance is very quaint and has a very nice feel. The thing we liked the most were the handicrafts that were made by local...

We were very comfortable in our modest room which was "deluxe". We were happy to have the small front porch of unit 6. There was no TV and it was pretty basic but the a/c worked wonderfully and we greatly enjoyed the pool almost every afternoon. We had some dietary restrictions that they worked with us on for breakfast and...
