We stayed 3 nights in 'Little Pacha', on first sight a very nice and new hostel. However, staff was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. Seemed to us that they were not taking their jobs very seriously... My friend her sunglasses went missing, my expensive hiking shoes were stolen. When trying to find out what happened, staff was very...

It is worth staying here to get the 50% off Sunday Funday discount. It's the first destination on Sunday funday so it's practical if you're staying there. However, there is a smaller Pachamana 50m away which we stayed in and would recommend. Pros: Half price Sunday funday Good wifi Party atmosphere Free breakfast Decent pool Centre of town Cons: Loud...

This is by far the best hostel in San Juan Del Sur - if you're looking for a place with more action/fun vs. a quiet spot. It's tough to get a room here, especially during busy season. They don't take reservations so the best way is to book another place and show up with the hopes of moving in. -...

Pachamama is a household name in San Juan del Sur. It is a pretty nice hostel that has two locations really close to each other: Big and Small Pacha's. Big Pacha's hosts the bar, the kitchen, the parties and therefore also the noise and the mess. Small Pacha's however has the benefits of Big (a pool, close to the beach,...

Hostel Pachamama kicks off the notorious sunday funday and it is an absolute blast. If you want to get into pachamama for sunday funday, book early though because spots usually fill up by wednesday. Also, try not to be on the floor becuase it open windows and it is scorching hot up there. The staff is nice and you'll definitely...

Only stayed one night with a group of 4 friends. Booked it that same night we stayed and the person at the front was very accommodating and even booked us a van for our next stop. The location is great for those who enjoy the nightlife as it's right behind the main street. They also host their own parties and...

I loved Hostel Pachamama, the vibe was really fun, the owner was friendly, and the location was great! We stayed in Pachamama from Thursday to Monday (DON'T miss Sunday Funday). It was the perfect way to end our Nicaragua trip. There's always a party going downstairs at Pachamama with lots of backpackers both from the hostel and from other hostels....

First this is a party hostel. They host parties and they host the Sunday Funday so it's usually full. It's located right in the middle of downtown, about 100 m away from the beach, and near to the main bars so you can go party walking. They have two build the big Pachamama y the small Pachamama. The small one...

Great experience, good price, friendly staff and a good place to meet fine people. Must be there for a #SundayFunday event, starts at 2PM in the bar by the pool and then you will party until sunset. Loved it.
