As beaches go, San Juan del Sur is pretty nice, and there even nicer beaches close by, but at a cost of $5 - $10 per day (including transportation). The hotel is pretty quiet, and fairly basic. There is a grassy area that doubles as parking for those "en voiture". A pleasant covered terrace area, with sturdy tables and chairs...

I was here for 1 night for business purposes. I've been received very friendly. The room was spacious and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. It's just outside the noisy nightlife part of town, great. Big private on-site parking available. Breakfast was ok! They also have a tower with a nice view over town and ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

I like this hotel because I am always welcomed with a smile by name. The rooms are basic but comfortable. If you have a car or motorcycle you get a roomy secure parking area with 24 hour guard so you can come and go when ever you want. Here's a tip - if you don't need air conditioning, and you...

We stayed in the Royal Chateau Hotel as part of a Gadventures tour. The staff was helpful upon check-in and was easily accessible throughout our stay. The rooms were decently sized, had multiple single or double beds, good air conditioning, large bathroom but the rooms had no safety deposit boxes. The front doors of the hotel close at night but...

I stayed on the second floor right at the top of the stairs. The room was big and comfortable. They had a chair outside so I could sit and read in the morning. There were tables on the first floor for breakfast (great pancakes) and a table on the second floor where we had dinner one night. Nice staff. Really...

This hotel is located on the street just behind the church. It is very quite as there are family homes located around most of the hotel and the rooms are actually built back off the road and there is also a large parking lot between the road and the rooms. The rooms are very roomy and cozy and there are...

3 of my buddies came to visit from the States and had heard good things about Sunday Funday at Pacha Mama, Naked Tiger, and another pool on the beach I can't remember. The party was great and since we weren't planning to spend much time in our rooms we were fine staying in a hotel away from the beach. The...

First time here with my family. Loved it and will stay again. Excellent area in the city to walk around and a nice gym right across the street. My kids were happy about that. It's totally a family oriented place. Had a chance to meet the owner and was very pleased with outgoing and humble spirit.

We ended up here after the original hotel we booked cancelled our reservation as some other guests decided to stay longer. the location is a bit removed from the main area which was fine as it was an easy walk and quiet at night. We had a 3 bed room on the 2nd floor which was spacious and clean, A/C...
