First off I love this campground. It is beautiful and convenient but not worth the rates. I am struggling getting this review done because the wifi is so slow. The train is very loud but there is nothing they can do to fix that. The sites are nice and some what level but not paved as you would expect for...

We appreciate you taking the time to give feedback on your stay. I am happy to hear you enjoy our campground but am disappointed you will not be staying with us next year. Every year we look to improve the Camping Resort and provide additional updates to our sites, cabins and facilities. The additional rate increase is necessary to continue...

The only reason we stayed was for the kids! When I first made the reservations the representative told me about the train and I clearly said please put me as far away from that as possible. When I arrived I was right next to it! I proceeded to tell the desk clerk and all he said was sorry we are...

Thank you for providing feedback from your recent stay. I am disappointed you did not enjoy your time with us. Although I am not positive of the site you stayed in, there are areas of the camp that are closer to the train tracks. When we have guests staying in tents, we suggest the Lazy River Rest area which is...

This is the second time we have stayed at the Hersheypark Camping Resort, and we were not disappointed. We traveled and stayed with our daughter, her husband, and their two small sons (aged 2-1/2 and 3 months). We stayed on Lot #102 which was very convenient to the walking bridge which took you to the playground, swings, and pool area....

I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and are already planning your next visit! If you’re looking for another get-away this year, I suggest staying with us during Hersheypark in the Dark or Christmas Candy Lane. The Halloween and Christmas Seasons at Hershey are so much fun for the whole family! During Hersheypark in the Dark,...

This is a great resort, close to Hershey's Chocolate World, amusement park, trolley tours, etc. So Much excitement here! The park is quite large, clean, most sites are small, lots of barking dogs(even during the night) and train tracks with trains that go past the park every 2 hours, even throughout the night. We enjoyed the experience but if you're...

We stayed in site 90 which was almost far enough away from the trains. But lots of sites sound like the train is going to run you right over. The bathroom building actually shook from the trains. They go by probably 20-40 times per day. Not too many activities going on at the campground and one of the pools was...

Hershey camping has always been a good expierence for my family and I. Ignore what others have to say about the train, my tip is bring ear plugs! The pool is crystal clear, the shuttle bus is on time, and the staff is super nice. During night time security is always driving around. If you ever see a young man...

Had a group camping trip with friends and lots of kids. Stayed at multiple tent sites with electric and water. One of our families left and drove home at 3:00 in the morning due to the train. The rest of our group all left Saturday evening even though we paid through Sunday. The freight train is ridiculous. It runs all...

Thank you for sharing your experience at Hersheypark Camping Resort. I apologize that the active freight railroad bordering the campground disrupted your stay. As the Sweetest Place on Earth, we strive to provide all our guests with an enjoyable experience. If you choose to stay in the future, please consider sites in our Lazy River Rest area. I will be...

We stayed in 163 RV site. Pretty far from the train ( thanks for the tip Trip advisor). The sites are tight! Almost awning to awning. Luckily we are not here to hangout at the site. Wifi at the campsite was awful but the cable was good. The pool was nice but not open very long, only 10 to 6....

We tent camped here for 2 nights in site 241. The site is about as far from the train tacks as you can get, so that wasn't a problem, nor was RV noise, although earplugs wouldn't be a bad idea. The site was close to a potable water source; however it was a walk across the parking lot to the...
