Overall the stay was great. Would come back again. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is near to many of the Hershey attractions. The hotel staff was helpful. The courtyard looks amazing unfortunately I didn’t have time to use it. Maybe next time.
We stayed here after having to leave the Courtyard Marriott due to broken AC and terrible service from the front desk (see that review for details). This hotel was just down the road (.4 mile from the Courtyard). We called at 915pm at night and spoke to Ruben who helped us get a 2 queen room at the same rate we were paying at the Courtyard. We checked in with April who was professional and pleasant. Room was decent and clean. Not terribly big but enough space for my family of four. Mini fridge is good but no freezer space/compartment. Four sets of towels in the bathroom when we walked in (unlike the 2 at the Courtyard). And the continental breakfast the next morning was great!!! With covid still around, the hotel did the best it could with grab and go and it’s variety of items. Jimmy dean sandwiches, cereals, yogurts, muffins…just would like some fresh fruit offered like apples and bananas if we can recommend! They were constantly replenishing so nothing ran out and the seating was ample in the lobby unlike some other hotels offering a free breakfast. Would def stay again! Thanks for accommodating us at the last minute!!!!…
We were there for one night for a dog agility trial. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. It's a convenient location to downtown Hershey. I have nothing else to add but Trip Advisor is making me keep typing.
I have been here alot with my family never had issue, this one time by accident my daughter did mark the wall I informed house keeping I got something to take out the mark I did my best . I was surprised of the charge on my credit card that no one call to give details of the charge i thought they would give me one chance with warning since all timeshare owner pay big bucks for maintenance and the room would still need services after family check out. The front desk staff been great and otherstaff. Manager Peter answered the phone I was happy it was him so not to waste my time . I ask about the charge no courtesy nor respect it was if you don't want your card to charge don't mess up the room!! sounds personal to me. Please treat everyone equally Peter when you are not there your crew communicate well nicely with smiles. to have us want to come back...afterll it's a business you never know who is who…
We stayed at a king suite over a weekend. Check in was okay , had a nice smile from the receptionist but she was not masked. When I asked her to mask she became somewhat unfriendly . Lobby was well lit and very clean and inviting. Corridors were clean and carpeted. We used magnetic cards to open the doors. The room was large and clean. We had a door separating the bedroom from the sofa bed room.linens were spotless and the bathroom was also very clean , bright and relaxing. Housekeeping came only at checkout and if you wanted them to clean during your stay you need to request for it. Beds were comfortable and there was an extra pillow and sheets and blanket in the closet , for the sofa bed. The fridge was a good size for a family of four , the interior of the fridge , was clean but the top of the fridge had a thick layer of dust. The latch of the dishwasher was broken and the door was difficult to open because it was jammed at the edges . It definitely needs some repair . When i finally got the door to open, I saw that the dishwasher had a few dirty dishes and utensils still in there. The induction stove was nice but we had trouble getting it to work . I called the front desk and a young lady answered and said she would get someone else to call us back with instructions but no one ever called back. Coffee maker was small and single serve style but we didn’t use it. They had a microwave too and nice kitchen cabinets. Pots and pans were clean but all were Tefal so we didn’t use them. . Bought takeout for dinner which was delivered very fast .. Beds were firm but comfortable so we slept well. Sofa bed mattress was also nice and thick. They had a tv in each room. Blackout shades were very good. Walls were a bit thin. Could hear our next door neighbors still chatting ,past midnight. Luckily it didn’t last long. Breakfast started at 6am. Ended promptly at 10am . 99% of the staff and customers were unmasked. No hand sanitizers. Break fast was ok, cereal was limited, none were gluten free. They had scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage, hash browns, oatmeal , waffles, yogurt , milk and juice. Coffee was good and had a good selection, hot chocolate was available as a powdered packet. Hot water too. Seating was good. Parking was at the back of the hotel. Mostly good experience. Check out was fine and the staff greeted us on our way out. Despite a few annoying details, overall our stay was pleasant and restful. Would come again.…
