This was my second visit actually in 2 years. The lodging itself is nice and very clean. It could use new TV's and some common area and bathroom updates but nothing will make you uncomfortable. With 8 rooms and 2 common areas per building it really suites golf groups perfectly. They also provided us a grill and conference type area...

Eight friends spent a long weekend at Penn National Resort for golf and fun. The two courses were very scenic and greens were tough to read for pace vs line. The only complaint was that the course with the trees was very frustrating because they didn't blow the leaves and had to use a "leaf" rule to keep our sanity...

We were looking for a place to stay and play golf after leaving Gettysburg and we happened on this place. Penn National is a retirement community with golf, tennis, etc. Guests stay in apartment-type buildings near the entrance. Our package included 18 holes of golf for each day, as well as breakfast and dinner at the clubhouse (1/4 mile away)....

We like to come here to play golf on both of the courses and stay at the Inn. The restaurant is good, staff and service are wonderful. Although the rooms are large the carpeting is ancient and they badly need to be updated. This is a retirement community but the sales pitch is very low-key.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Inn/Lodges one night. Our room was large, clean, convenient and looked at the moutains. We very much enjoyed watching the full moon rise over the mountain. The bathroom and dressing area were newly equipped with shiny, shiny fixtures. Definitely a "will stay here again" place for us. Thanks to all the staff...

My son and I stayed here during the 150th anniversary reenactment. I was a bit concerned with how far out of Gettysburg it was, but it turned out to be a pleasant drive in to town that we made several times, and was particularly convenient to the reenactment site. Overall it likely wasn't the most convenient choice, but given the...

The property and staff are always second to none here. This is a great place to just get away for a couple of days. You can get some great golf in on the two courses which are right on sight. The rooms are very nice and clean. The rooms could use a little updating but for the most part they...

A good location, with spacious rooms. Units could be updated though, with newer bathrooms and flat-screen televisions.

We stayed at the Penn National Inn for 2 nights for the Gettysburg Reenactment weekend. It was only about a 20 minute drive from Gettysburg (through beautiful countryside), and well worth it considering how much we saved over staying in Gettysburg. The rooms were VERY large and comfortable, and the bathrooms had the sink and mirror outside of the toilet/shower...

Why? The bathroom was not clean and had mold growing on the ceiling above the shower...live mold, bigger than a hubcap. I couldn't take a shower. I went into the office, for the first time in my life, and complained. They said sorry, we'll put clean the ceiling on the list. That was it. The room was bare but the...
