I came here for the Philadelphia Flower Show and found an amazing B&B in a wonderful town. Hargrave B&B was chosen because it is a historic building and an easy walk from the SEPTA train from the Philadelphia Airport. Although our room was not in the older part of the home, it was spacious, clean, had great access, and all...

I reserved 2 rooms for the grandparents to stay when my daughter got married. Both had a lovely time and said the breakfast was delicious. The innkeeper was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend this place and will book again next time family is in town.

Our stay, March 4-6, 2017 The best feature of Hargrave House is its location – near the Doylestown museums and downtown shopping/dining/entertainment district. The first level of this 1813 house is set up as a bakery (not operating yet) which also serves as the breakfast room. Breakfast is typical diner fare. Don’t look for a Victorian living room with a...

we stayed this past weekend. The room was large and comfortable. The mattress was just OK they actually should be replaced. Although they have mattress topper to make it comfortable it sinks in. Breakfast just OK. only offering was eggs, toast, OJ,and a small fruit cup. The innkeeper was very very nice, but doesn't make up for the expense of...

We stayed for 1 night (sadly only 1) after other plans we had were cancelled, and we wanted a nearby get away. It was very cold outside, but our stay could not have been warmer. Room was very large, comfortable and clean. And even though it is located on a main road our room was very quiet. The staff was...

I wasn't sure I would need to spend the night but decided an overnight stay would stretch my visit to the area. I did my research and was so happy with Hargrove house. They did have a room for me and it was very comfortable. A separate entrance with a small area to sit outside. Lovely conversation with the owner,and...

My sister and our husbands recently stayed at the Hargrave House for our birthday. Lorna, one of the two innkeepers, was so accommodating and warm. I stayed in Room 4 and it was great. The bed is great and supposedly the beds are custom made for the inn. The Inn is close to all of the restaurants and bars. We...

Stayed here with my wife while attending Bucks County Plein Air. One of the few B & B's around that allows for a one night stay, most have a two night minimum. Warm and welcoming host Lorna makes this a special place. Super convenient to Doylestown's fabulous restaurants and Bucks County attractions. On-site parking a nice plus. Well appointed rooms...

We stayed two nights on a trip designed to explore Doylestown, Pa and a bit of the surrounding area. We had hoped for a lovely spring weekend but got a gray, gloomy, chilly, damp 50s weekend instead. Didn't matter! The B&B is only steps away from the Main Street / State Street center-of-town intersection and everything was just so easy...

I made a very last minute reservation at the hargrave house. Lorna the inn keeper was excellent. She even helped me sneak the chocolate straw berries into the room while my girlfriend and I got some stuff from the car. We were the youngest ones there but that didn't bother us. Hargrave house is located in the perfect spot to...

“The website mentions Jacuzzi's in every room. This was not true for # 2 on the main / ground floor. We paid the web price asked and did not make a fuss about the mistake in advertising. If Jacuzzi is important - do not select # 2. Additionally, do not select # 2 if you are overly sensitive to street noise.”
