We stayed at the campground for two nights (Monday & Tuesday), so during the week when it would be less busy. The first night was fine, but the second night was awful because nearby campers were loud and obnoxious until after 1am. Apparently park rangers don't visit regularly, so though the campground (which is run by a concessionaire) hands out...

We camped in a motorhome the weekend after Memorial Day. We has a large site with wonderful trees. The campground was not crowded. There were some motorhomes around us, we all had dogs and generally, it was quiet and we were able to enjoy the outside. A camping experience is only as good as your neighbors. I think camping in...

The only reason I'm giving one "star" is because our site was actually very nice - well maintained and fairly spacious compared to others we've been to. The rest of the weekend was a nightmare. First, we were told in no uncertain terms that there were only 2 tents per site with a maximum number of people, so we had...

After arriving to find that the computer had my reservation listed on the wrong weekend, I was happy to find a staff that not only got me another spot, but gave me store credit as well. My spot was supposedly a crappy one, but we really liked it. It was quiet, the bathrooms were clean, and everything worked out very...

We loved our stay at Dingmans. It's my favorite place I've ever camped. We stayed one night on the river's edge. There's a short path down to the river and from there it's a beautiful view of the Delaware Water Gap. It was early October when we stayed, so there were almost no bugs, and the weather was beautiful. We...

Just the drive itself is beautiful, but the campground is so much better. Just make sure you are ready to take some pictures! The bear come by to visit quite often. They have a small camp store that has most necessities. As most campers have said....no alcohol aloud! There are a couple small town bars in Dingmans Ferry that are...

It does the job but we won't be going back though. Margie up at the office was wonderful (best part to be honest)! However, our neighbors were very very loud the Friday night (I am talking 2am and still going, all 6+ of them), and not a single ranger in sight. Then Saturday, between 10 and midnight another party going...

My husband and I spent 3 nights (Sun-Wed) here mid July. We stayed at site 128 which is a river site. I was kind of disappointed that we really couldn't see the river or get to it easily since we were at the top of a steep embankment. I thought we would be able to directly see the river from...

A very nice rustic place to camp! Staff was wonderful and having a store on the premise is a definite plus. I also was able to bring my dog! The walk to the river was a short one and enjoyed watching the children play on the field. I also loved the ranger program!

Very bad bathrooms! Clogged toilets! Over flowed toilets! They don’t have enough showers. Be ready to wait in line. They don’t clean the bathrooms. We left a day early just because of the bathroom conditions. They let very large groups stay at ONE camp site. I have camped many places, I have never seen so many campsites with 3-4 tents...

“If camping with a camper, do not take site 11 near the North restrooms. You will have people traipsing through your camp site at all hours.”

“Do not bother with one of the coveted lake sites. The sites nearer the entrance and bathrooms are well-maintained and quiet.”

“I wouldn't waste the money for a river site again. The portopotties are scary, the massive groups are very loud, and you can barely see the river. Of all the sites we explored site 111 was the nicest I think my friends said. But if it was me, I would skip the place altogether.”
