No complaints apart from the restaurant. The service was slow but fine (friendly waitstaff). The lighting was horrific and the food was pretty bland. Having said that, it would be nice if they offered some sort of breakfast option - even continental - since the restaurant doesn't open until 11:00 so you either have to depend on the vending machine...

Thank you for your response. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your dining experience. In regards to the lighting, one wall of the restaurant is all windows, so during the day you can ask to be in that section. Additionally, we have recently upgraded our lighting in the entire area. Our restaurant is open for breakfast at 7:00am Monday...

I really cant complain much about this hotel. It had everything we needed and was a great location for knoebles and a few local stops. the restaurant they have in the hotel is delicious and a great value! the staff is very polite and very sweet. my only complaint is that the bed was very uncomfortable. Thank you Amanda S for your review. When it comes to beds, it is a little like the three bears. The mattresses we have are "hotel firm". We then put a quilted "topper" on them to soften them up a bit. We get more comments, good and bad, about beds then any other single topic. For the record, we just...

We stayed here for an overnight stay while visiting Knoebels Amuseument Park. Hotel was about a 20 minute drive from the park. Drive was easy and enjoyable. Inn is close to the Geisinger hospital, a CVS pharmacy, Memorial Park, churches and downtown district. There are a few restaurants within a short drive, but there is a restaurant on location at...

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and comfortable hotel! The staff were helpful and polite and our room with two queens was spacious. We had an amazing dinner in the tavern and a great breakfast in the main dining room. Both were reasonably priced, service very professional, food was excellent. We will return on our future trips to...

I needed to be right by the hospital because of a medical emergency with my mom. The hotel is right next door and also has a deal with the hospital shuttle if you need it. They offer a huge discount on the room if you are there because of a patient in the hospital. I had to keep extending my...

Looking for a place to stay on our motorcycle trip, we were directed here by someone at the local Best Western as a place where you can stay with a nice restaurant within walking distance (a must-have when you only have bikes for transport -and you want to have a beer after a long ride). We pulled up and saw...

Thank you San W. We appreciate your kind words. We could not have said it any better. By the way - we agree with you. The sofa beds are not our best attribute. We hope to replace them sooner than later. Thanks again!

Stay at Pine Barn Inn for an overnight trip to Knoebels. The hotel room was clean, parking was great, and staff was friendly. We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant. I would stay here again when visiting Knoebels.

Thank you for your review. We love Knoebels - and Pine Barn is a great place to stay when visiting the park. Just 15-20 minutes to the BEST free admission park in the country. Our hint to people visiting the park. The Cesari's pizza and an ice cream at the Old Mill. Get a small banana split - plenty for...
