You got me! Best prank ever. Dropped me into a hell-hole of a property that has a nice pretty website and redecorated the rooms with old musty furnishing, stained sheets, broken fixtures - basically whoever should work did t and the things that did were designed to scare the heck out of you (must have enlisted Dismey's Haunted House designers)....

If you're looking for top of the line hotel accommodations this is not the place for you. I stayed one night at the village and it was perfect for my boyfriend and me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is outdated, but it was OK for the atmosphere I wanted. Which we were comfortable and cozied up...

I'm hoping that someone will be smarter than I was and look a little deeper than their website for reviews on the location. The place was an absolute dive. There was a hair clogged drain in our olive-green (60s inspired hot-tub), a leaky kitchen sink that soaked into the mildewy rug, the bed and pillows were stained with god knows...

I had a great time at Naomi village. We went a few weeks ago and the setting was beautiful. I've been to many hotels in the Poconos and there is no resort quite like this one. They had a beautiful little village and the walk/driveways were paved so we were able to ride our bikes around the village and see...

It is a shame since the cottages are nice but they will take your money and run. We stayed for the weekend and about two days after we left I found multiple duplicate charges on my account. I now have to fight this with my bank as they refused to answer my questions and assist. Do not stay here!!! If...

Stayed here a couple of nights this past weekend. Wanted a dog friendly hotel near Bushkill Falls. The room/cottage was big, living room and kitchen, then a bedroom with bathroom. The only thing that had been upgraded since the 60s in the room was probably the TV (remote was for a different type TV), and the microwave. Could not get...

The "deserted" feeling at the cottages was far different from the pictures I previewed online before spending a weekend. We had a group of 6 families for Fathers Day gathering. several reported having to "disinfect" their units before using kitchen and baths; the grounds looked overgrown (although I know we were in a camping area). Staff was nice but apparently...

I have stayed in numerous hotels, resorts, and B&Bs in my lifetime, I have never experienced such charlatan policies nor such poor maintenance. First, the $50 cancellation fee is outrageous. Who does that? Also, most hotels take the balance payment when guests check out, not when they check in. But I guess if you know you have a horrible property,...

I must say that the photos are much better then the actual site. My wife and I booked this place last minute as a back up when our plans fell through. What I will say is... If you are not expecting the Ritz you will be just fine here. My wife and I are very simple people who really enjoy...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There's nothing quite like Naomi Village. Not a motel, hotel nor a sprawling resort. We're a delightful private village in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, just 90 minutes from the GW Bridge and on the border with NJ by the Delaware Water Gap. Our guests range from family gatherings, small weddings, golfers, military personnel and couples that want to enjoy some mountain relaxation away from their everyday hustle and bustle. We offer catering and we have a Bar/Lounge on the premises. Nearby restaurants, shopping, casino, night life, outdoor activities as its best. ... more   less

  • Sunday Morning -- Pool Trespasser
  • This is the towel we had when we arrived -- not even a set, just one towel (for two people)
  • Clean, but very very tight space and the floor seemed to have a dip/hole under the linoleum
  • Extra molding in the closet?
  • Lamp in kitchen area (Birchwood Suites, #14)
  • NO SMOKE DETECTOR!!! Just an empty space.
