The lodge and room were absolutely beautiful, the location was right by numerous forest trails, the food was mostly superb, but best of all was the staff. The staff was incredibly friendly and I even saw one of the members get Robined! Highlight of the trip. If you want to know what getting Robined is, I recommend you stay at...

For the second time in recent months, I find myself having a very different experience than my fellow travelers on TripAdvisor. I will start with the points I would have shared even if we had loved the cabin. The positive - the lodge itself seems to be as advertised - rustic with a lot of wood and other natural details....

Came for a short stay. Stayed in a cabin which was so clean, cozy and relaxing. Staff at the Lodge, Restaurant and Spa are so friendly and professional and make you feel at home. Great prices! So much to see and do or just relax.

Very well done. Staff is very helpful and are all genuinely happy and like their job. This says a lot. Stayed in suite 1, it had everything you could want, except for maybe a table. I wouldn't call it a 'honeymoon' suite by any means but it was very nice and accommodating and WARM! (I think that says a lot...

The rustic and antiquated atmosphere of the Gateway Lodge was amazing. Most (if not all) of the furnishings were made of wood - intricate carvings, reclaimed and refinished wood, and absolutely breathtaking decor. The food was delicious and the staff were enthusiastic, helpful and always smiling. The room was romantic and the bathroom was equally impressive. Robes were provided in...

The Gateway is a warm, relaxing retreat and one of our favorite places to just "get away." The rooms are not inexpensive, but frequent specials are offered throughout the year, and if you take advantage of them, the cost is more than reasonable. We always get a second floor suite, which consists of a king poster bed, a loveseat, a...

Really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a suite which was fairly spacious, had a private porch, jacuzzi bath, fireplace and modern bathroom. The food at the restaurant was excellent, expensive but all either locally sourced or organic. The wine and beers were excellent, some good value local bottles of beer at $3 right up to premium Washington state wines...

Recently stayed at the lodge and have been there several times. The staff is so welcoming and this place doesn't miss a beat! It's well worth the money. Time goes very slow and you meet great people too! Deb is the owner and just tremendous!

I paid a total of $209 for a small room over the dining room that had (1) a queen-size bed; (2) a small table suitable for luggage; (3) a long table attached to the wall, suitable for small luggage; (4) a small stool under this table; (5) a table and lamp on one side of the bed. That's it! The...

My husband and I went to the Gateway Lodge for our one year anniversary/honeymoon. We were told we could check in at 4PM. So we headed up so we could be there a little before 4 so we could make sure we found it and found parking. To start, there was no parking spaces available. We had to park alongside...
