We had a family event where we booked most of the rooms recently. The Inn has a historic, intimate and casual feel and is situated directly across from the Clarion River and Rt. 36. The rooms were comfortable - particularly the bed. The Inn keepers were helpful when needed and left us to enjoy ourselves. Breakfast was adequate with mostly... More

This place was great! We had a nice room (The Cook Suite) and we could look out a corner window and watch the Clarion river meander by. There was a peaceful view of the river from the rocking chair on the front porch too. No cell phone. No TV (in the room.) It was wonderful - like going back in... More

We went June 26th-28 2015. Spencer was great. It rained all weekend so we didn't get out much. Room was clean. Staff was nice and attentive. WiFi was slow and there is no cell reception. Great visit but a phone and small tv in each room would be nice.

I feel we have a pretty good grasp on this place after our second visit just ended. The location is on the road and not in the forest proper but it's generally serene regardless since route 36 is not a highway by any stretch. The rooms are generally well kept and clean however being in the woods you will encounter... More

room looked like it had been slept in and the towels were honestly looked like they had been used to wash a car. Stained and thrown in the bathroom. The bed comfort was nice and yes you are in the forest but NOT for 150 per night. Breakfast was nothing special unless you get lucky enough to have French toast.... More

This place is wonderful if you have pets. There is a large area to walk you pet. Please remember to clean up after your pet so we can keep this place pet friendly. To many place have stopped because pet owners don't clean up after there pets.

Loved the big front porch near the river on this bed and breakfast. Loved how we could walk right over the bridge and rent canoes. The rooms are historic and interesting and clean. However I agree with the rest of the reviewers, the staff needs to be more professional. I feel with the right training in hospitality the woman at... More

We were quoted one price then suddenly the rates increased by $15 the night before we arrived. The hosts were kids barely out of their teens, barefoot and shirtless even when serving the mediocre breakfast. They monopolized the TV and did no housekeeping whatsoever. I will never return.

Our experience overall was good, clean, well-decorated room, beautiful old home overlooking the Clarion River. It was a short walk to the canoe livery and a tiny local restaurant. The innkeeping employees were nice and friendly, but not very professional. The small breakfast buffet was set up in their private quarters, and we walked in front of where they were... More
