We have visited Jean Bonnet Tavern many times throughout the past six years. First impression was really good, now not so good. No changes to the menu in years and lunches are very good but the portion size not so good. Would like to see more items and a more care to portion size and presentation.

A lovely and lively historic inn. We had a single meal there and it was perfect of a couples night out. Good food, good wine at reasonable prices made the evening one to remember. Definitely a place I would come back to. Next time I will reserve a room there too.

We ate dinner and stayed one night to break up our long drive. Service was excellent, friendly, and efficient. We stayed in room 2 with a gas fireplace. The room was cozy. A nice change of pace from modern hotels. The rooms do have TV but wifi and board games are available. The room included breakfast. A generous plate of...

The food was fantastic. Duck was tender the sauce was smokey sweet. Exquisite. Crab cakes were light and flavorful. Good beer selections l. The accommodations were fun. Nice old building, with slanted floors and charming shuttered rooms. Loved it.

We look forward to dinner here at least twice a year. During our return trip from Kentucky visiting our son and his wife at their horse farm we make it a point to stop at the Jean Bonnet Tavern. The atmosphere is inviting as it takes you back to the early days of Pennsylvania's history. Oh BTW, the FOOD and...

Loved everything about our visit. Last minute romantic get away and so glad we decided on Jean Bonnett Tavern. Jean Bonnett offers four different rooms each with a private bathroom and access to balconies. There are two rooms on each side with shared balcony. No phones or television, which was terrific for us. From Karen who stayed late to greet...

We stop here often on our way to Ohio and Michigan. Always great food and a terrific selection of tap craft beers. The staff is efficient and always extremely friendly and helpful. The tavern has some unique food items to include a terrific bison burger. My wife especially likes the entree salads and the house French dressing with beets in...

This is our second time to eat in the restaurant and we think it is special. The food is out of the ordinary and the service is great. The ambiance in the dining room is just right for such a historic building. This time we decided to spend the night and we thought it was such a calming experience. The...

We were in Bedford visiting friends and they suggested the Jean Bonnet. We arrived rather late, and they were very accommodating. We checked in and they even kept the dining room open for us so we could get something to eat. I will review the restaurant separately, but let me say it is fantastic. The room worked well for our...
