I make a weekly trip to the area and have stayed at just about every hotel from Yachats to Newport and the waldport inn will be my permanent, for the price (un matched I might add) it was the most comfortable, clean and inviting hotel. If I had 1 improvement it would be the parking but do not expect you to monitor that someone parked a bit close to me. Overall extremely satisfied

A great value! Inexpensive. Close to the highway, but not noisy. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and of course the beach! Room was on the small size but not too bad. Very clean. Nice employees. Parking was a little tricky. Overall though very pleased. Waldport is a very small town and this is your best choice for a stay.

During fires/smoke in Oregon, my husband, my dog and I are one of many households that either have to evacuate or need a break from the smoke. As a result, most pet-friendly coastal hotels are booked. Paulette at The Waldport Inn went above and beyond to help me in my search for safe and quality lodging. Thank you so much Paulette for your empathy and sense of humor during what I know is a very busy and possibly stressful time for you. I hope to stay with The Waldport Inn under better circumstances... Thank you!

Unfortunately we never got to stay at the property but I need to give a shout out to the Management at the Waldport Inn. On the day of our booking there were Forest Fires and we could not travel. We were well past the free cancellation period, so I didn’t expect a refund. The Waldport Inn Management was very understanding and offered a full refund, they didn’t have to, but chose to. Thank you Waldport Inn! We hope we will be able to stay with you some other time!

Overall a nice room with a comfortable bed. Refrigerator, but no microwave and no table in room. Only 1 chair. no place to set up computer except on bed. With most of the restaurants in town doing take beacuse of outcovid this severely limited eating options due to no way to reheat or sit for a meal in room.
