Stayed here for pre-halloween family event. What's not to love about dressing up in costumes and touring this enormous, beautiful, historic place!! The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the beds were super comfy with feather bed toppers and down comforters. I liked the high end toiletries in the bathroom. We will definitely make this a family tradition!!!

We visited Timberline Lodge during their Comedy Weekend to celebrate my birthday. This historical landmark is worth the drive up the 6300 foot Mt. Hood. I wish I could say the same for their lodging. We stayed two nights in a Fireplace Room on the back side with a view of the mountain. The room had a king size bed...

I wish we had stayed overnight at this fabulous 1930s CCC-built lodge, but at least we enjoyed touring its public rooms and the wonderful Sunday Brunch in the restaurant. Multiple tables groaned with all sorts of food options - breakfast eggs to lunch-time roast beef. If you'd rather not spend so much for a mid-day meal, the cafe and bar...

my favourite part was the dead girls,10/10. I also liked the dead lady in the bath, she was very welcoming to my two young children and my wife also loved her. I wasn't a big fan of the deco but jack more than made up for it in his wit and charm and shoddy eyebrow job.

It was a dark and stormy night when I arrived. At first I was expecting Jack Nicholson to check me What I found was a delightful experience in a historic masterpiece to the Works Projects era of the 1930s. While it helps to visit museum on first floor, all you need to do to gain an appreciation the art, engineering...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Timberline lodge for a comedy weekend. The comedy show was great, but unfortunately that's pretty much the only thing that was good. The service was horrible, at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms are insanely tiny and it was ridiculously loud. Our room was right across from one of...

We stayed at the Timberline Lodge on a recent trip through OR. I am so glad we did. Driving up to it was amazing and the long, mountain road gave it extra drama. Once up there, the views are incredible and the lodge itself is really unique. I had never stayed in this sort of resort before. We booked a...

I do not really have a bucket list, but if I did, staying at the Timberline Lodge would be on it. Out the front is a view of Mount Jefferson and out the back is Mount Hood. Beautiful any way you look. The rooms are typical of the time it was built: smallish with wood paneling, compact tiled bath. We...

Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood Both the exterior and interior of this historic wooden hotel showed the care that has been put into maintaining this property. The common areas were cozy with plenty of couches, chairs and warm colors. We visited in mid-October when there was no skiing but a steady stream of guests visiting for the day or overnight....

Timberline Lodge had extremely high expectations to fulfil. It was a dream for both of us for over 35 years to stay here. It was, therefore, with extreme excitement and a bit of trepidation, that we drove the stunningly beautiful trip from Portland to Timberline Lodge. It exceeded expectations. It was, quite simply, fantastic. From Jacoby, who looked after us...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977, Timberline Lodge is one of Oregon's most popular tourist attractions, drawing nearly two million visitors every year. Considered an architectural wonder, it's still being used for its original intent-a magnificent ski lodge and mountain retreat for all to enjoy. Timberline Lodge is filled with amazing spaces that beg enjoyment. The main headhouse lobby features three fireplaces at the base of a 90 foot chimney. The outdoor patios offer the most stunning views in Oregon. The outdoor pool is heated and open year round. With so many places to explore all under one roof, you'll feel as if the Lodge is an extension of your guest room. Each room in Timberline Lodge has a unique rustic elegance, yet a modern and comfortable feel. All rooms have period furnishings, artwork and decor. Enjoy fresh powder feather beds, the year 'round heated pool, spa and sauna. Rooms range from premier fireplace rooms to European style bunk rooms. Regardless of which room suits you best, they all share an authentic sense of place found only in one of the Historic Hotels of America. Timberline offers the longest ski season in North America. The winter season typically begins early to mid-November and continues through Memorial Day. Our Palmer Express high-speed quad lift allows us to operate later into the summer season than anyone else (usually through Labor Day). Many years, we're open for fall skiing as well. ... more   less
