The front desk clerk was friendly and upgraded our room from King to Double Queen so that we could stay in a room with an interior entry, which we preferred. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows & sheets felt luxurious. Very clean. Impressive breakfast offerings for a continental breakfast - boiled eggs, oatmeal, pastries, bagels & cream cheese, waffles...

I was visiting this hotel for my high school reunion and was pleased from the moment I parked until the moment I checked out. Now, The Dalles isn't quite the happening town so I wasn't expecting much in a hotel. They had covered parking for about 20 spots, the gal at the front desk was very nice and polite. The...

I traveled from Portland, OR to the Dalles early in the morning since this was the first time in Oregon for me and I wasn't sure about the traffic conditions. Arrived at The Dalles Inn at 10:30 am. The receptionist Renee said that normal check-in was at 3:00 pm, but she spent a great deal of time trying to accomodate...

The staff did not greet us, the girl was rude and acted like we were not welcomed. The rooms and motel are not worth $195 a night!! No hot breakfast. Very disappointed for the price and the service you get!!

This was a fine place to stay. I booked the place due to reviews on TA. It is a motel, however, and the prices, I think, were a little steep for the place it was. We stayed in the suite and it was quite spacious. The staff at the front desk was great, they were very helpful with recommendations. We...

Friendly staff, good sized clean upgraded rooms, with mini fridge and microwave, nice pool, nice continental breakfast and eating area. Wasn't sure what to expect from this area being a place I had driven through on my way somewhere many times but never stopping to stay in The Dalles, so it was a pleasant surprise.

We spent a night here on the long trip from portland to Joseph Oregon. The room was nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The free breakfast was well stocked. The pool was also nice and my son and I enjoyed our swim. We ate at clock tower ales and had a great time drinking craft beer and...

We stayed two nights for a concert at nearby (well, 25 minute drive or so….) Maryhill Winery. Pretty basic hotel, does need updating, but clean enough with comfortable beds. The pool is outdoors, but in a weird enclosure next to the building, so not much sun and only room for four lounge chairs. The picture on the website is misleading....

I wasn't expecting much for this small town but the room was clean and the front desk friendly. In walking distance to Baldwin saloon. Reasonably priced as well. Did not check out the pool, looked small.

First I love this hotel, easy walking access to downtown. And I do love the rooms and also the breakfast room. The manager Victoria is outstanding. She helped me plan a vacation for my daughter and grandkids in Portland at the lake and also one at beach in Lincoln City. Rave reviews from them. They enjoyed their vacation. They give...
