Courteous help, complimentary wine, continental breakfast, comfortable bed, captivating views of The Dalles. Not your typical hole-in-the-wall motel by a long shot. I spent the night in April, when the surrounding hills were still green and desert wildflowers were starting to bloom. I am so glad I skipped the Shilo Inn at the bottom of the hill.

We had a great time this weekend at Celilo Inn. Paula, who works the night shift, was especially friendly and kind towards all the guest. As usual, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. We regularly choose Celilo because of the fire pit. It's so fun to meet people out there and share a glass of wine - or several...

So glad to hear of your recent experience! We love to see guests enjoying our patio and helping to facilitate a friendly, cheerful environment. Paula seems to leave a great impression with all the guests she interacts with; and your kind words will be shared with her. Very much looking forward to seeing you again!

We arrived on a blustery spring afternoon and after check in the very friendly staff lit the outdoor fire pit and offered each of us a glass of local red wine. We enjoyed the expansive view of the Columbia River flowing from the dam. Our recently remodeled room was perfect and comfortable. The view from our window was outstanding. The...

My check in at the celilo inn with Ms. Moshon was premiere. She was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. Also, the complimentary glass of wine was a pleasant surprise as well. The single "King's" view was "outstanding." The room and the entire facility was clean and a total pleasure to stay. My next trip to The...

My husband and I were in town house shopping and needed a place for two nights. We chose Celilo Inn and were beyond pleased. The lady that checked us in gave us a great deal which included a bottle of wine! The rooms were fantastic, clean and user friendly. The views are incredible and there is a seasonal pool. The...

Love this place! I have stayed here 3 times in the last couple years. The staff was great and love the veiw of the river. The pool was really nice on those hot nights. I especially liked the outdoor seating with the fire pits.

We found the Celilo Inn to be welcoming & comfortable for our weekend stay in early November 2015. The Inn's position on a hillside overlooking the Columbia River was dramatic, and despite some reviewers having difficulties finding it, as long as you know it sits on the hillside facing the river, it's signage is obvious as you enter The Dalles....

The hotel is not bad, but not what the pictures show. The staff is very nice and friendly. The motel is older, and not in the best part of The Dalles. Driving into this place at night did not give a good first impression. The views from the motel are great. The rooms are clean & comfortable, but very small....

Thank you for taking time to leave a review regarding your stay. I am sorry our rooms did not meet your expectations. We do have several room sizes at our hotel, and I would encourage you to try us again. Being as we are a little of the beaten path, I do realize it can be a little off-putting at...

Stayed at the Celilo Inn for the first time several years ago after a very poor experience in the "best hotel in Hood River". Have never looked back or considered staying anywhere else when visiting the Wine Country. Really enjoy being able to park the vehicle outside my room and not fighting the crowds. My wife says the beds are...

Verging on a boutique hotel but flying under the radar due to its location. This old roadside hotel was renovated inside and out resulting in a tidy comfortable room. It has all the amenities plus a complementary glass of wine at check in and a well stocked continental breakfast in the morning featuring Stumptown Coffees. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable...
