Paul and Miguel checked me in with ease. We were staying here due to an eye surgery and they both made check in smooth. They put us on the first floor which made life so much easier walking in blind for the first time. They thought of things I would not have. I picked this hotel because it is in the middle of everything you could possibly want but it’s the staff that made it enjoyable. In the morning we realized that getting up and going was not comfortable and I asked the front desk for a later check out, I was greeted by two people excited to be there and was given a more than generous check out time. Breakfast was served safely by a bright, warm attentive attendant who gives you hot eggs, french toast, and sausages. A freshly written board with instructions and descriptions tells me that this changes daily. I was also offered salsa and/or cheese on my eggs. The cheese was finely shredded. Many more amenities for breakfast such as fruit, cereal, bagels, and more. I was just impressed with what I was able to bring back to my room. I felt like I brought back Denny’s. They had strawberry cream cheese. Cherry on top of the visit was late evening, Miguel, even at the end of his shift, I came out in search of a night time aid for my son due to his discomfort of his eye surgery and found some medicine at their market. Thank you Miguel! You are so sweet and good luck with your studies. …
We liked staying at the hotel but there were a few issues. We stayed in an upper floor, the room was nice, the hotel staff were good. The sofa sleeper if you needed it had coils in the mattress so it wasn't worth even using. The included breakfast in the morning was delicious and served downstairs, put on a tray, socially isolating, and there were choices of what to eat and drink every day. The location has good access to the freeway and areas of Eugene but not noisy from the freeway. There are restaurants and places to go that you can walk to closeby or get on the freeway and go to the Oregon coast and come out in Florence Oregon. The only comments that I have is that one night it was noisy in our room as there was a team staying at the hotel and it sounded like a ball was bouncing next door. We did call down and complain and the staff called them but it didn't really stop but luckily I had my white noise maker. Our room didn't have daily maid service due to covid which was great for us. I'm not sure if they sanitized the elevator, or the stair rails, but they may have. They did require masks inside the hotel which was great. We had our bikes and they let us bring them up to our room as of course they couldn't guarantee their safety but they hadn't had a recent problem. The hotel staff were great. It was very crowded once the weekend came but we liked the first 2 nites.…
Very nice place to rest during a long roadtrip. Great location and a lot of restaurants to choose. These is also a Tesla supercharge close to the hotel. The room is clean and bed sleeps very comfort. Also dog friendly, great choice to bring your furry friend!
Old but somewhat updated. Nice tv. Stained lampshades, tired old fabric couch/chair. Decent room for an ok price. Breakfast is a mess with having to ask for what you want then little to nowhere to sit. Restaurants in the area within a short walk, but was panhandled by someone who wanted $2 or my bag of food. Nothing terrible, probably would not stay here again at this price.
Clean, quiet, safe. Very comfortable room and bed. As a solo woman traveler, I liked that there seemed to be someone at the desk 24 hours a day. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Convenient location. Will stay here again next time I'm in Eugene.
