I really enjoyed our brief stay at the Edgewater Inn. I chose this hotel based on the proximity to Crater Lake where we were headed for the following day. The hotel is located right on the river, and although I did not choose a river view room, there is a walkway, benches and deck along the river for everyone to enjoy. We stayed in a double queen room which was spacious enough for our needs with plenty of space to put our belongings, and a nice countertop and mirror outside the bathroom. The beds were a little too hard for my liking, but that is a personal preference. A continental breakfast is provided in the morning. Both the young woman who assisted us at check in and the woman at the desk the following morning were exceptionally friendly and made us feel so welcome. I…
We stayed here one night and it was a good night. The staff was welcoming at check-in and friendly with our other encounters. The rooms were somewhat dated but nice and clean. As others have noted the internet was slow when all the guests were accessing. A light continental breakfast was included with the room. There is a nice river walk adjacent to the motel and if at all possible you should request a river view room.
e stayed here recently for a wedding in the area, and our stay was not a good experience. The front desk staff were consistently rude to both myself and the bride. We were told the "family room" had two bedrooms and a pull out couch, but when we arrived late after the wedding the room was just two queen beds and a pull out couch in a room that is apparently larger than their other rooms. From what we could tell the room was clean, but the water pressure in the shower was horrible and the wifi might as well have been turned off. To top it off both mine and my husband's necks hurt from the terrible pillows and uncomfortable bed. Basically, you're overpaying for a Motel 6.
If you want to travel back in time to 90s, this is your perfect spot, he-he. They still think that dialup speed for internet is considered acceptable. They charge you more than $100 per night, but don’t have a 2nd person at the reception. So if you are ready to get a shower, and find that smth missing in the bathroom, you will have to run to the reception. The lasy who was there on August 1st barked that there are many customers, and she is the only one, and she can’t handle requests from guests. Naturally, she didn’t bother to introduce herself. Luckily, she was kind of special, and the other hotel team members knew how to be professional. The room was clean, that’s given. But overall, I feel pretty generous to give them 3 stars.
Very nice and clean. Nicer than expected. Bed was comfortable and floor was clean. Newer carpeting. Had a room with balcony overlooking a stream. Staff pleasant and helpful. Not much to free breakfast but it was plenty.
