Heavy snow forced us to interrupt our trip and we pulled into nearest lodging at The Edgewater Inn. Loved the place. We got huge room with a gas fireplace and wonderful river view. We walked across a bridge for Mexican food. A charming, friendly place and great value.

So surprised about this hotel and this town. If you get A chance stop and stay here. The hotel is older but has been kept up nicely. It’s within two hours of Crater Lake. It sits right on the Rogue River and if you request a river view you can have a room with patio overlooking the river.

We've stayed here three times on our trips to Idaho and Montana. Consistantly, we found the Motel to be clean and quiet. It's right on the Rogue river and the rooms have a door that opens out to the river's edge. Beautiful scenery and relaxing. Pet friendly and nice hosts and hostesses. Will stay there again.

We requested a river view room and really enjoyed sitting out in the evening watching it. Would have like to sat out for coffee in the morning but was too chilly. Breakfast was continental, but plenty for us. Rooms are rustic decoration and quite comfortable, if a little small, If you want to unplug, this is a good place since the WIFI was really slow except at 4:30 in the morning when no one else was on, and no cell reception since in a valley. Neither one of these bothered us. BUT, if you have to be connected all the time, this motel and town is probably not for you,

The Edgewater Inn is not far away from Crater Lake.. The check in time was short and the room was spacious. The A/C was very adequate and the shower power was good. The breakfast provided consisted of coffee, juice, cereal, oatmeal, toast and yogurt. Not a whole lot of choices but adequate. We noted that the beds were quite hard and the carpet in the room was a bit dirty. You can have a room with a view of the river if desired. For the rooms without a river view, you can park right next to your door.
