The Sandy Cove Inn is a family-owned boutique motel located two blocks from the beach and promenade in historic Seaside, Oregon. We are on the quiet end of town but still very close to the town’s attractions, and we combine the personal touch with modern conveniences like free WiFi and some pet-friendly rooms. We have everything from basic rooms to vacation rentals, and with both a market and restaurant just across the street, we are the perfect place for a fun, peaceful stay on the Oregon Coast. We even have themed rooms like the Wave Room with surf art, a wave mural and an actual surfboard; there’s also a 1940s Room, a Monopoly Room, and a Boat Room, among several others. We’re one of the last family-owned motels in town, and that means a lot to us. We will share some of our favorite activities and places to eat with you, and we can’t wait to make you feel at home in our home.

I needed a mind break, to take care of 'me', from my stressful job and all of our current national issues. I found this inn randomly and thought it looked interesting and fun, so I made a night before reservation for the following two nights. What a find it was!! Each room is decorated differently to add to the whimsy of this "old school" roadside inn, without all the fuss of "luxury, corporate owned hotels". I was first amazed that I was given real keys for my room, not key cards. I was in the Garden Room, and being greeted with all of the adorable special touches instantly released my stress. Just what I needed. I loved all of it! The bathroom was recently renovated and there was a flat screen tv. The room had exactly what I needed for my getaway, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and local owners on site to help me out with things to do, and if I needed any additional items to make my stay perfect. Annie was such a sweet woman and her true love for the Inn is what makes it! She doesn't forget any detail for each room. We had a great chat and she truly loves what she does and wants all her customers to feel like special guests in "her home". If you are looking for a "not so average", privately owned eclectic motel, near the beach but away from the excitement of downtown Seaside, this is for you. Check out the pictures and you will see what I am talking about. I will be back.

These guys are the BEST! They are exactly what this world needs more of. The building is older, but so well kept you wouldn't know it! It's not a big, fancy resort. Instead it's a homey, comfortable place to stay! The location is perfect because it's not downtown. It's just far enough away from the noise and traffic to be perfectly peaceful! The little market and restaurant/bar across the street could not be more convenient! Very short walk to the beach and the Prom! Just down the street is the perfect place to park and watch the surfers or walk the beach! But even all of those things do not add up to the wonderful people that own and run this Mom and Pop business. Friendly to the point that they become like family and willing to make your stay unforgettable. They have a variety of offerings from small rooms to multi-family accommodations and each is equally charming and comfortable so there's something for everyone!

Had to leave Lincoln City because of smoke and no electricity, so came north to Seaside. On the way my wife checked listings of places to stay. Sandy Cove Inn was rated at a 9.31 and it deserves that. We spent one night. It was extremely clean, very comfortable bed. a couple blocks from the beach and great employees. One interesting thing about the room we had were the pictures on the wall. They had all been hand painted and were extremely good! The price was very reasonable.

The room was clean and tidy. The decor definitely seemed dated. I’ve never seen a hotel still have a VCR. We stayed for 2 nights and were happy with our choice. The only downside is— you are quite a ways from down town. It’s too far to walk depending on age/abilities. If it was slightly closer that would have been nicer. The room was clean, no stains on the sheets and everything smelled nicely. We stayed in the WAVE ROOM and we were happy to get that. The only really odd thing was standing over by the sink it feels like your walking up a slope or walking down a slope turned the other way. They want to look into fixing that. Beyond that everything was the way it should be! Decent price- sucks paying tax but overall it was nice for 2 nights. If I was going to stay longer I would probably choose somewhere else.

My husband and me stayed 3 nights. Stayed June 4, 5 and 6th 2020. Was pleasantly surprised. The price was very fair. Impeccably clean! Very helpful and friendly inn keeper. Beach is a short walk away. Rooms are adequate size. Will definitely stay again. Note: In the wake of Covid 19 Normal visitor info has to be requested. No Hairdryers
