We were scheduled just for a single night as a stop over on the way to Washington, and a single night on the return trip. The staff, Kelly, Janet, and Rick were wonderfully helpful. They helped when we needed to get a repair to the RV, and when the dog got sick and needed emergency help. They were able to accommodate an extra night when the dog needed to stay overnight at the vet. The site is well-maintained, and in a beautiful location. Can't say enough nice things. Will definitely stay there again.
We stayed at Rising River for a week. Located directly off OR 42/99, traffic noise was significant. Shopping, Services and Restaurants, especially amazing breweries, abound. The park is along the South Umpqua River, with a nice Green area along the length of the park. Cable, Satellite, and Cell services were fine. WiFi was typical RV park, only adequate. Our Full Hookups were great. Sites are gravel, plenty deep and wide enough for comfort. Some sites are set up for Class A’s to face the river. Our back-in did not face the river, but we had plenty of lawn behind to set chairs and play games. Grass common areas abound. A nice fenced dog area is centrally located and provided moments of entertainment. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. We did not use any facilities.
We stayed at Rising River on our way to and from the Oregon Coast and this will definitely become a regular stopover location for us! We are generally off-grid or small facility folks, but needed a place for just an overnight in both directions. The full-service amenities are great - especially on the return! From the moment you arrive, the staff greets and assists you, and every staff member is as kind as the others! The spaces aren’t ‘private’, but that’s not what we expected, so we are fine with that. The highlights are the grassy area along the river, the two separate dog runs, the cleanliness and efficiency, and as previously mentioned - the staff. We would have given this place a 5/5, but the one drawback is the proximity to Hwy 99/42. The road noise is fairly constant throughout the night, but earplugs worked fine for me! This will become our go-to stopover when traveling North!…
Roseburg is not my favorite city to visit but this was definitely one of our favorite r v parks... nestled in a beautiful area, has the river and walks along it for yourself and fur buddy... really well kept up and very clean. Will definitely be back...
This was the perfect setting to visit my daughter and her family staying in this RV park. The rental house is very clean and spacious. It is very home like and nicely decorated. There is a good size kitchen and dining area. My favorite thing was the outside deck and fireplace. It has a beautiful backyard where you can see the river. It was very quiet and safe. The park is well maintained and the staff is very attentive and friendly. I would love to return!
