This is a glorified motel, let's be real here. If it wasn't for the staff, I'd give this 2 stars. The staff here is amazing and are so great at recommending places to go. Seriously. They make it sound like there are bars and fun stuff in the hotel, but there wasn't. There wer 0 amenities here. Like... Something would...

Hi, Thank your taking the time to share your experience with us. You are right, we are a renovated 1960s motor lodge which definitely makes us a unique property and we understand that we are not suited to everyone's needs. We do our best to provide our guests with amenities suited to the modern traveler looking for urban adventure. As...

I chose this lodging based on location (near lots of restaurants) and by some of the photos. I really didn't know much about Portland and had originally thought about staying more downtown. Boy, was I happy with my choice. When we pulled in to the parking area, I was worried about how full it was, but we never had a...

....customer service was excellent so they get 3 stars. Online, this place looks nice. In person, this place is meant for 19-23 yr Olds on tinder dates hooking up! Condoms are offered on the night stand and thong taking is encouraged. I most definitely will not stay again as this atmosphere was not for us. Pros: 1. The encourage safe...

I was really happy with the Jupiter Hotel! It was so stylish and clean with nice cotton sheets and the option of lovely feather pillows. The only thing I was missing was an unobstructed view (the patio tent top and a sliver of sky was all I could see from my big window) But for the reasonable price, it was...

I loved my one night stay here! The property is totally urban and the city around you is completely accessible from this location. My room was the perfect size, on the small side- a positive attribute, a perfect single room. The decor was simple yet totally alive and vibrant. The music on the property and the energy from the bar...

We stayed in the Jupiter for a weekend trip to Portland in April of 2015 although the drop-down options are forcing me to say it was in 2016. The rooms are cool but tiny but the proximity to the Doug Fir was choice and made for a very good stay. We enjoyed walking across the bridge into downtown to Powell's...

My husband and I checked out their website and were impressed with the artsy rooms with murals etc - that was quite misleading. The hotel has exactly 3 (or 4) rooms in the with funky murals/walls; the others are pretty ordinary. The bar side can get (really) noisy at night, but we didn't seem to mind that. The hotel is...

Hi Vaishnavi, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm glad to hear that you had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the neighborhood. I'd just like to clarify that each of our rooms has a mural in it, either handpainted (including the yellow bamboo rooms) or photographic. Should you find yourself staying with us again,...

This is our 2nd time staying at the Jupiter and attending concerts at the Doug Fir. We were in the chill zone (quiet part ) of the hotel. We had a nice room and the staff was great. We even got a bottle of bubbly for new years. That was nice and unexpected. The one thing I can say is...

This hotel was not inexpensive, but for me it was worth it. The location was great for what I needed- very easy to get on public transportation and I could also walk to dinner/breakfast & local breweries. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nice, modern, well lit and well stocked. What really made the price worth it was the...
