Finding room was difficult. No mini fridge or other amenities that are common to hotel rooms. Had to check in across the street at another hotel. Unloading zones were unclear and a driveway was blocked off.
I absolutely love this place, it's vibe, friendly staff and proximity to music and food venues. The room was comfy and clean and had plenty of chalk to express creativity on the back of the door. I would have given this place a 5 however the parking sucks here. It's very limited, expensive and on a first come basis. I had to park on the street and the window of my car was broken.
We traveled from Tacoma WA for a show in Portland. The staff at the hotel were all prompt and very friendly. The room was very clean with nice amenities. This was the best hotel we could’ve picked! Thank you again!
BIGFOOT MAGAZINE LOVES THE JUPITER!! It's the chillest and best place to stay in Portland and whenever we go there, we call the Jupiter first. It's also very near the world-famous DIY skatepark, Burnside, another reason to stay. -Migz
Doug Fir was a great venue for the Longest Johns. The room at the Jupiter was clean and comfortable, small, but nice. Plus it was only 100 feet from the concert! An easy stumble home.... The hotel check in and check out were easy.
I LOVED this place. I'd heard about the Jupiter for a long time, and it lived up to all my expectations. And - here's the best part - the rate is under my per diem reimbursement rate for my job. I stayed in the middle of PDX, in the middle of the places I needed to go to, and it didn't break the bank in the slightest. And one more thing: get there early. The restaurants in both buildings are hopping, happening, fun places to be.
I can always count on Jupiter NEXT to provide an excellent experience. I have stayed there over six times in 3 years and every time it has been fantastic. Even during Covid when everything was weird, they did a great job maintaining cleanliness and Covid protocol. The staff of Jupiter NEXT is incredibly friendly and helpful no matter what you ask of them. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the beds are very comfortable and cleaning staff does a great job. Having the Hey Love restaurant downstairs is a big plus for breakfast, brunch, drinks and dinner. They have a deal with the Evolution Fitness gym around the corner which offer is a very nice work out experience with low cost. I prefer staying on the east side as it is quieter & appears safer than downtown. Every time I come to Portland I will be staying at Jupiter NEXT if I can get a room! It’s a great value for an excellent experience!!!…
I stayed in the smallest room (and it is quite small) with a friend and while things were tight, we had everything we needed. Water pressure in the shower was great, Hey Love and Doug Fir are great dining spots on the property, and so much more is accessible by a short walk. It's the perfect HQ to explore the rest of Portland as long as you don't need your domicile to be too fancy.
Great stay! Quite and excellent service! Friendly staff and centrally located which makes for a good bender with friends. Always loved the venue next door. Safe for the most part, but you also get some of the neighborhood flavor. 10 stars!
Jupiter hotel is in good location for my this business trip, the room is simple, and the steak is good. All the staffs are very friendly, I do feel they tried all their best to help my needed. Thank you
