Another wonderful stay in Portland, but this time at a fancy boutique hotel. I had heard sooo many great things about this hotel (the hubby has stayed here for business purposes a few times), so when I had the opportunity to book a suite for just $275 out the door for two nights, I jumped on it. Upon arrival we were greeted by Brenden who was super nice and friendly. The room was ready early so we were able to check-in and freshen up before brunch. Brenden was also there when we checked out (12pm checkout time) and helped us with our luggage for storage. Brenden was very fast and efficient. The room was big, clean, and although no view of the city, it was quite alright bc we were next to another tall bldg. so there was no excess sun shining through in the early morning, and it was as quiet as can be. The hotel has a great gym. If I remember correctly there were two pelotons, three treadmills, two ellipticals, a rack of free weights and also space to do abs and other misc. things. The property itself is super nice and clean. This was prob one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. The only thing I wished they had was a BAR. I think they had one but closed it down a few years ago. I was prepared though. This girl packed some wine and mixers! We brought them to the lounge and drank there. The location of this hotel is also very good. We walked pretty much everywhere except for one dinner across town. Bonus – if you forget your umbrella (bc it never rains in Portland), they have some in the room and at the front desk. Side notes: resort fees (or whatever they call it) is $33 a night. Didn’t drive so I don’t know what overnight parking costs. …
We ended our Oregon RV experience by spending our last night at the Heathman Hotel. It is beautifully decorated. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel offers complementary bike rentals and afternoon happy hour. We arrived early so our rooms were not ready. The staff kept our luggage in a secure location and even delivered it to the first room that was ready while we were out and about. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that in one of the rooms there were no bathrobes or coffee. The teens didn't need either so no big deal. Our (parent room) room was stocked with robes, tea, coffee. We really enjoyed our night after 10 days of camping. The hotel is also just 2 blocks from Pioneer Square. Great location.
Wife and I did a overnight to attend symphony First time staying at the Heathman What a pleasant experience from the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully the staff is professional yet friendly and welcoming Our room was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities. The French press for morning coffee was so nice The wonderful library was a nice surprise and we enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire before heading out for the evening I will be staying here next time we are in Portland
Excellent place to travel if you are woman traveling to Portland for work. The Heathman saved me from the residence inn RiverPlace. I had to switch hotels and the Heathman was warm welcoming and fantastic. Beautiful lobby has fireplace and coffee surrounded by a library. Jared the valet was very helpful and welcoming. The coffee press in the room was a huge plus. Highly recommend this warm cozy and welcoming hotel.
Beautiful hotel! Love that when you check in we were offered drinks! Beautiful room!! I loved staying here. It smells wonderful too!!! Truly amazing hotel. Would have loved to stay longer than one night!
WARNING. The Heathman is a fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. However, due to its bait and switch tactics, I cannot recommend it. I paid for two rooms through Hotel Tonight and Expedia while visiting my sister when our power and water went out due to an ice and wind storm and we needed. place to stay. I paid in full through both websites. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we had to pay a "resort fee" of over $30 for each room. According to the website, these fees pay for: The resort fee includes: Fitness center access Bicycle storage Newspaper Phone calls Faxes In-room safe In-room coffee Housekeeping Additional inclusions We only stayed one night. Do I have to pay extra to clean the room for the next guest? We didn't use any of these amenities. Faxes??? When I questioned the charges when we checked out, I was told that they have things like coffee in the morning and a wine reception in the afternoon. Well, no one told us about those things when we checked in, so we didn't use them. Charges like this are just to make the price look more competitive compared to other hotels online. We will not be back. …
Loved this spot. The reading room is gorgeous and one of my favorite places. Grab a cup of tea and a book and you are set! Comfy bed and great service too! A perfect jumping off spot to enjoy downtown Portland and all the restaurants and shopping you can handle!
The Heathman is a premium experience. It always has been. This is the place to stay if you go to a concert at the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall. My choice if I am in Portland. We were going to a concert next door and ended up getting snowed in for an extra day. The staff was amazing and helpful. They got us set up in new rooms, found good places to go (most of them were closed due to weather so it was quite the challenge!). They were unfailingly helpful. My wife described the bed as the most comfortable she’s been on, and everyone slept well the rooms are great, though the “standard” rooms are pretty tight. Recommend the corner king which is just about perfect. Absolutely will stay there again. Agar, the chocolate place off the lobby is _wonderful_ and got a chance to meet the owner. It was a great experience. …
The hotel is beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were there for a concert at the Schnitz and it was so convenient. The night we were there it snowed and froze up. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate.
5 For very sure Y'all made Christmas magic for two little girls! JoJo said it was "the best day of my life!" 6 year old and four year olds who felt like Christmas princesses. Your staff were spectacular. They made them feel special
