the lodge is conveniently located and with large parking area. we stayed 2 nights over there. break fast was very economical, with a low spread. it had onsite laundry and sauna facility, which is an advantage for travelers. the room is so so, and bed is uncomfortable and unclean. the rental is quite economical as the name suggests. front desk... I stayed at the this choice hotel property and was very satisfied. The staff was very helpful and will to assist with my needs. I loved the fact that there is a trimet station right across the street. The location was convenient to everything I needed to access. I had been traveling for a while so it was plus that... More

The hotel room was not clean. The toilet bowl hadn't been cleaned in many visits. The sheets were not quite white anymore and thin because they were so old. The pillows were lumpy and when I looked at them closely they were yellowish brown and smelly from so many uses. The carpet was spotty and greasy. The granite counter tops... More

Expensive for what you get which is poor location, dirty and dark, noisy - requires gutting and complete upgrade like about 50% of US motels we visited. Front desk staff welcoming & polite as were housekeepers - you can tell a poor hotel by taking off pillowcase and checking state of pillow...yuk.

In town for business which fell on my birthday, my husband joined me to take me out. We checked in around 5pm 9/13/16 and checked out at 7:15am 9/14/16. Shortly after check-in we left the room (#315) for dinner around 6:45pm and returned around 9:50pm. After several attempts my key card would not work, the front desk lady made us... More

I was simply looking for a clean, well-lighted place. Not here. I'm fairly certain the sheets hadn't been changed in 5-6 days. The person behind the desk was in quite the "I'm gonna tell you what to do mood", which I think was permanent. Find another place to stay.

Very old and poorly maintained, but was clean. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling by its wires and chirped off and on all night. I assumed the battery was dead. Key card did not work. Toilet ran water when flushed. Noisy. I got the room cheaper than going rate through this site. Good thing because the regular price... More

Hello Ms. Karen Reiche, I called you and asked for you by name and you immediately hung up on me. I want to thank you for taking the time to review our property and giving us a chance to improve. I researched several hotels for my family of four to stay at prior to our flight out of Portland. Out of the budget hotel category, this one seemed like the best for the money. The location was ok, not the best but not a bad neighborhood. There is no shuttle but the MAX train is right across the street and... More

Thankfully we only stayed one night at this motel. I was quite disappointed as it had fairly good reviews on tripadvisor. First, the positives - the location is excellent, with a light rail station right across the street which gets you downtown in less than 1/2 hour. The Wi-Fi worked well and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful... More

Dear RP_traveller_2013, I am genuinely sorry for any inconvenience that you experienced during your stay. That is certainly not what we intended. I work very hard each day to ensure guests are satisfied and I understand that I failed you. If you don't mind me asking, when and who did you speak with at the front desk regarding smoke smell... What can I say. The area certainly looked dodgy however entering the room I was pleasantly surprised it was large, had a fridge and microwave two luxury items when travelling. The bed wasn't extremely comfortable and the pillows were pancakes. Someone was playing loud music and the bass was vibrating through the room, I had to ring reception who sorted... More
