I was a little concern about other reviews so I asked to be in the top floor. Hotel is older and offers just basic accomodation and since we were mostly out and returned to hotel just to sleep. We did not encounter any issues. Location...More
I needed a place to sleep for a few hours as I was dropping a family member at the airport for a very early flight. The hotel is close to the airport, I'd say that's the biggest asset of this hotel. The room was clean...More
Our room was dirty. The couch had 1 long filthy, dirty cushion that had stains all over it. The room smelled of a strong odor of musty cigarettes...like walking into an old tavern!
They should have paid us to stay in this hotel!
Since our flight into Portland was delayed and we didn't land until 2am, we just wanted a hotel close to the airport that didn't cost a fortune. We were lucky that econo lodge had exactly one non smoking room left and they were willing to...More

We do not have shuttle. We are directly across the street from the Parkrose/Sumner Transit Center which is a part of Portland's Mass Transit System called Trimet. The Lite Rail is called the MAX. The first train leaves our stop at 4:34 in the morning and arrives at baggage claim at 4:45 am. It runs approximately every 15 to 20 minutes. The last train leaves the airport at 11:49 and arrives at our stop at about midnight. The hotel front desk has schedules for the train or you can google trimet to check out all the places the Max light rail goes. The cost is $2.50 for a 2 hour ticket and $5.00 for an all day pass.
