The room had a very nasty and deep-rooted smell of urine. It was in the carpets near the bed. We informed the front desk but they said that all the rooms were full and could not put us in another room. They gave us a spray to mask the smell (which it did not). Overall, it felt like a cheap...

Passing through Portland and wanted to see the city. Motel 6 ended up to be a great choice. Pet friendly, affordable, very clean and the desk manager was a real pleasure to deal with. He had a great sense of humour and made of feel very welcome. If a little tramway noise is a bother then please remember you are...

This motel 6 is conveniently located off the freeway and near the Rose Garden. It's your standard motel 6 room. Was pleased with the cleanliness. The bad part about this stay was the front desk staff. They were very uninterested and rude. Besides that it was ok for $64. A quick bus ride to downtown.

We booked this motel becuse of the location and the price. It is not as bad as some say. Our room was ok, seemed clean, no bugs or bites. The lady at the reception called a taxi for us which drove us to Pearl District, which is just over the bridge.

The best part of this property is the lovely view of the parking lot from the 2nd floor balcony. The rooms are in desparate need of repair. Our first room had numerous problems, including paper peeling off the wall in the washroom and chipped countertops. When we requested a change for something more suitable, we were given a 2nd room...

Chose this hotel because of its convienent location to the convention center. It was both cheap and gross. Bathroom was covered in mold and there was moss growing on the porch. Light in the bathroom never worked. Stay somewhere else.

Stayed there because it was cheap and I didn't know any other hotel in Portland. I've got bed bugs bites all over me in the morning. When I asked the receptionist what was happening, he told me that those were probably "mosquitoes". To make things worse, I carried them home with me and now I have to call pest control...

This hotel was the cheapest I could find by a fair margin. It's conveniently located (in the Rose Quarter, a short train ride from downtown, and the ride is free though that's going to change soon). It's clean and reasonably well-maintained and wifi is free. However, it's beyond basic. The clerk is less than friendly, and refused to let me...
