I stayed here for a week while in town for a conference at the Oregon Convention Center. This is a great location to stay while in Portland, since it's by the trendy Alphabet district with plenty of cafes and restaurants. It is also within a couple blocks from Trader Joe's to pick up groceries. I easily walked to the Rose...

The staff were great and the facilities were very adequate. It was a 10 minute walk to anything that you wanted to do--attractions or places to eat. Easy street parking is available for a nominal fee. This is an easy place to stay with no frills.

I stayed in lots of hostels on my trip and this was my favourite. I really liked the neighbourhood, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was really nice. I made friends with some of the other travellers as everyone was so great. The breakfast was very simple but decent. My bed was comfortable and my dorm smelt fine. The prices...

My wife and I got a private room here for the night, and we looked online before we booked and it seemed good. That was until we got there. It looks to be in a somewhat rough part of Portland with people sleeping in the park across the street, to the weird people walking around who looked like drug users...

I stayed in a private room for $100. Towels were old and rough & bedspread was old and musty. The bathmat and hand towel in the bathroom was old and dirty. I thought there might be soap in the shower. I was thankful for the fan in the room since all but one window was painted shut! I don't normally...

The private rooms were fine. The beds were comfortable. We were in an old Victorian Apartment. The people who worked there were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast was free bread/pastries/coffee/tea. The kitchen and gardens were great. Met some very nice and interesting people. I would totally go there again. Great location for market(Trader Joe's and Fred Meyer), shopping, and...

We stayed 2 nights and the stale smell inside the house was overwhelming, they really need to open some windows and get some fresh air into the place. The double bed felt as though it was as old as the house and desperately needs replacing. Apart from been in a good location, this hostel needs some work and do not...

This hostel was an excellent location. I rented a car from the airport when I flew in and was able to get a pass to park close to the hostel for $2 a day. The hostel does provide linens and towels but I would recommend to bring a pillow.

This hostel is in a perfect location within walking distance to many awesome restaurants, breweries and activities. The hostel was clean both outside and in, despite being surrounded by construction. Front desk staff was friendly and very good at recommending places to eat. Our room was a 4 bedroom female dorm and it was clean and spacious. The bathroom was...

Portland is an amazing city and staying in this hostel made my trip all the better!! I meet amazing people and stayed in a great center location to everything Portland has to offer! They serve a free European breakfast, and they have a garden patio that is smoke friendly. The kitchen is amazing! The staff, so so so friendly! I...
