An historic home in a lovely neighborhood. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It was a beautiful time of the year to visit Portland. We were able to sleep with the window open and not be bothered by any noise. The breakfast was excellent. We will stay again.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in this B&B in Portland during a recent road trip from San Francisco to Seattle. The building is beautiful and full of amazing (and expensive looking) artifacts. It is very ornate and not suitable for families with small children. We stayed in the Balcony room, which gave us the "pleasure" of listening to...

Just a wonderful place to stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious but not too big. The bathroom was nice but consistent with the period of the house. The breakfast was nicely prepared and presented. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We will definitely stay at the White House when we return to Portland.

We stayed for 4 nights here and it was just ok, the breakfast was very good, however that is about it. We slept in a bed that was far off the ground and it was hard to get into it, I am on the younger side so I use the bed rail to help get in, It would be nice...

The White House is one of our favorite places to stay in Portland. The rooms are lovely, the beds are heavenly, the service is impeccable, and the breakfast is the best ever! Warm bread pudding, with local fruit, sweet whipped cream....so delicious! Lanning & Myra are always so gracious and happy to see every guest that arrives. And it's great...

We stayed for one night and wished it was much longer! The rooms are lovely and so well appointed, always a treat. The entire property is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was exceptional, with wonderful service to match. Myra and Lanning are wonderful hosts and make all of their guest feel welcome and special, we will be back!

The feel of Portland's White House is very homey. The breakfast meal was tasty and we appreciated the option of listing what time to come down to eat. Our hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, but quite squeaky. There is a radiator for heat which wasn't easy to operate and was slow to warm the room,...

Before I moved to OREGON I stayed at the Portland White House to experience the historical charm of this B&B and the neighborhood. Now that I live in Oregon I make it a point to return often! Every one of my visits has been excellent...so much so we hosted a special event and the host owner went beyond our expectations!

As a one-night extension to a week's stay at Mt. Hood, we splurged on a B&B stay in Portland instead of near the airport. Gorgeous homes in a historic district, enjoyed walking the neighborhood; this is an elegant, restored 1911 mansion. We were welcomed graciously, accommodations were comfortable and quiet, antiques and collectibles were everywhere and lovely. Gorgeous dining room...

On our latest trip out west, we stayed at Portland's White House for 3 nights. Our room was great and the breakfast very good, but what we liked the best was the location. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood (a short drive to downtown Portland), but within walking distance of some very nice restaurants. The staff had suggestions...
