I was surprised at the cleanliness and condition of the hotel. Have not seen many Marriot branded hotels looking like this. The room was clearly not cleaned, there were crumbs and hairs and dust everywhere. The carpets are so dirty I wouldn’t take my shoes off except in bed. It’s located in a desolate part of the city at the NE side the of the Pearl district. There is no parking at the hotel at all. You must park in a nearby public garage or on the street. The common areas of the hotel looked run down. The outdoor areas were strewn with garbage and not taken care of. The rooms at the hotel are very small. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was smaller than one we’d stayed at in a Residence Inn in Manhattan. All in all, I wish we’d picked a different place - it did not look like the pictures at all. Was very happy we were only staying here one night.

We stayed here in November, right around riots and COVID- but they did a good job. I thought the rooms were spacious and clean. Nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, HVAC worked great, and there was plenty of free street parking that didn't require to pay the garage fee. Its in the middle of the Pearl District/Downtown and highly recommend this property. Would stay here again! Also, super nice courtyard and fire pit.

Stayed three nights here during COVID in a two bedroom corner suite with small children. The extra space really helped us to continue to enjoy the evening while the kids sleep. The place is clean with dishes disinfected. Not even one time we saw any staff without masks. Visitors at the building were respectful and voluntarily not to share elevators. On the weekend they serve touchless hot breakfast (includes scramble eggs, baked potatoes and sausages) that you can bring back to your room and on the weekday they have grab and go breakfast. There's disinfectant in high traffic places and social distancing was practised during out stay there. When we asked for extra towels and untensils, the staff also handed them over in a touchless manner. I am really happy I chose this place for my family to have a small getaway during the pandemic and felt safe.

Room was ok on ground floor. Not super clean (hairs), but did appreciate the dishes clean in dishwasher. Train noise. Biggest complaint was there is just too much light coming in around the blinds at night. Breakfast was not clearly available.

With the wildfires raging we needed to get away. The room we chose had a living/kitchenette and a separate bedroom with a king size bed. The hotel’s approach to dealing with the pandemic is very reassuring and we felt the staff were very well trained. We either got take out food or did some minimal cooking in the room so our interaction with others was limited, as we wished. The one thing that was a bit misleading was the statement of free breakfast as what was available did not even have the appearance of a breakfast.
