We stayed one night in the Skyline, which was on my list even before the pandemic. The design and attention to detail make the tiny houses fascinating -- how do you fit an entire house into 200 sq ft? In the Skyline, that includes a triangular toilet tank, among other well-thought design ideas. The location makes a great base for a Portland visit, with a food co-op near by and plenty of restaurants -- so many outside dining options in Portland. With pandemic safety in mind, the separation from other travelers was a comforting addition.
I stayed two nights in Pacifica. It was a fun alternative to staying in a hotel. The tiny house was clean, instructions were easily accessible, and there was everything I needed for my two nights. I especially appreciated the keyless access to both the property and the house. The codes were sent via email, and the COVID-safe check in was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would definitely stay again!
I stayed in Skyline, it was such a cute property and I've been obsessed with tiny homes so this was a great way to stay in one as a trial. The property was secure and I felt very safe staying there on my own. What a nice change from the usual hotel!
We lived our night at the tiny house. Safe and clean and great communication. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Not everything in the area was open yet but we found enough and brought food back to eat in the courtyard. Would recommend staying here for something different.
We just finished a single night at the Tiny House Hotel. Checkin was a breeze and we were easily able to find street parking. We were greeted by Ruby the dog who hung out on my lap for a while and begged for petting. What a cutie. We stayed in the Amazing Mysterium. Super cute and all we needed. Great location! We walked up and down Alberta looking at shops and restaurants. Ate dinner at McMenamins and breakfast at Pine City Biscuits. Oh my! Had the biscuit with chicken and the apple butter which was like nothing I have ever had. The Grilled Cheese Grill was closed or would have tried that. We stayed plenty warm and there are ear plugs if you need them but we didn’t. Maybe on a weekend. We didn’t really see any other people in our caravan. This would be so fun to have a group and hang out in the center area and have s’mores. …
This novel place to say is an absolute gem. Full of charm and character, and a fantastic place to stay for those who want something a little different to the four walls of a traditional hotel room. Is is ideally situated in a really cool neighbourhood with lots of amazing eateries within walking distance. I’d definitely stay again!
Stayed in the Skyline tiny house. Having traveled and stayed in countless hotels around the world, my stay here was one of the most restful stays I've ever had. It was so nice to stay in a cozy house rather than in a sterile, run-of-the-mill hotel rooms. The main bed was so comfortable - slept through the night each night. The Caravan is conveniently located a minute's walk from 4 restaurants/bars. Will definitely stay there again.
We stopped in Portland for 1 night while on a road trip and half of the reason for our visit was the fact that I really wanted to stay in a tiny house. Caravan turned out to be a perfect choice! We chose our house (Pacifica) based on the beautiful details - maybe not the greatest criteria, but worked! The design is gorgeous, I loved the stained glass and wood exterior. We got check in instructions via email, everything was very straight forward. The house had everything we needed- pots and plates, utensils and good coffee and tea, lots of blankets.I appreciate the fact that all the kitchen and bathroom products were organic/ fair trade and natural. The sleeping loft was very comfortable, bathroom spacious (Pacifica is wheelchair accessible, so the shower is huge!) and the whole space cozy. Caravan is located in a neat neighbourhood, with an excellent vegan restaurant next door, and lots of bookstores within walking distance. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! I hope we can go back at some point and try out the rest of the tiny houses in the hotel.…
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Skyline tiny house, and it was like the grown-up version of staying in a magical pillow fort. The lower level bed was super cozy and surrounded by fairylights. All the amenities were great, and there were so many great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. I thoroughly recommend!
Wherever we go, we try to find a new place that fits the vibe of the city and the Caravan fit this perfectly. We stayed in Pacifica and could not have been happier. Great space, comfortable bed and the rain on the rooftop only added to the ambience. Our daughter and her boyfriend live in Portland and after our fireside s’more fest they decided a “staycation” may be in order. Staff has very helpful during the reservation and communication was great - the place is fantastic
