This unique decorated hotel is located in the best part of Portland, NW neighborhood. The atmosphere, the stuff, the facilities (including free parking), and even the basic breakfast, were all fantastic.

We stayed for 6 nights. This is a colorful hotel with very spacious rooms that include a kitchen area. Free parking is a nice plus. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location; it is outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. We enjoy walking, so didn't use the streetcar, but that is a nice option....

Thank you for taking the time to share this review with the TripAdvisor community! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your 6 nights with us in one of our king suites with a full kitchen. Our location is definitely ideal for those wanting to avoid the “hustle and bustle” of downtown as you perfectly described. Portland is a...

My husband and I stayed here last weekend for a belated anniversary weekend. After searching through all the hotels that were possible to stay in we chose here for price. What you get for the amount you pay is 100% worth it. Would I like to be closer to downtown? Sure, but with the street car or legs that work...

Hello, Thank you for this great review. We are thrilled to hear that your belated anniversary celebration was a blast and that we were a part of it! You are very correct in regards to our location as well. We aren't technically in the downtown area, but we are just a streetcar ride away! Plus, there are tons of great...

This hotel is conveniently located on the trolley line, although it makes for a noisy stay if your room faces the street. The trolley will take you to the Downtown area as well as the Pearl district. The hotel provides a nice breakfast including individually wrapped slices of Tillamook cheddar, boiled eggs and a waffle station. The rooms are funky...

We came in late Sunday night from the airport and were greeted promptly with our reservation. An old train station, so you can envision loooonng hallways, which is what they have. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, with bright with orange and pink retro decor. We didn't spend much time there as we were with a tour group and out all day....

Just enjoyed a weeks stay at the Inn at Northrup Station. The Inn is located in the Nob Hill section of town. Good, but not great hotel. Northwest neighbourhood is nice to stay, cheaper than Pearl District and downtown, but easy to go there walking (around 6-8 blocks) or by bus (there is a station in front of the hotel). The room was very big, with a good kitchen. The breakfast is good. The style is unique, very colourful and fun, anyway...

Thanks for your review! We are happy to hear that you found our location ideal for your Portland adventure. It is very true that we are a unique and colorful hotel, no beige colored walls here! While we understand this isn't for everyone, we like to try to “keep Portland weird.” Thanks again for your review! Iliana Tovar

The old real estate axiom certainly applies here – location, location, location. Not only is The Inn at Northrup Station a short walk to dozens of restaurants, bars and shops, you are just steps away from a streetcar line that will transport you downtown, to the Pearl District, or a transfer to the CL Line to explore the East side...

The employees here are so incredibly kind and helpful. The decor is awesome and their sense of humor shines throughout the place. The place is so convenient since the street car stop is right outside and they comp you a ticket. I highly recommend this place!!

The hotel is studio apartments converted to nightly rentals, so the rooms are--ROOMY!--and the Jetson decor is very fun. Streetcars can take you anywhere in Portland but the NW neighborhood has lots of good eating and boutique shopping. Nice quiet location. The outside porch on the 3rd floor is a great place to hang out on a sunny day.
