Nice and funky, just the way I like it. The room was a little noisey. The staff was really good, but not great. It depended on who was waiting on you. We will be back when we stop in the area again. Oh and wonderful coffee!

Hello Lynn! Thank you for choosing the Inn! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed our funky fresh approach to hotel decor, and in true Portland fashion, our delicious coffee! I'm sorry to hear our staff wasn't always there for you, and I'll look into ways to make sure your next stay is amazing! We look forward to hosting you again!...

I had a great weeks stay all the way up until checkout. First the positives: Colorful cheerful building Clean rooms Excellent in room amenities (shampoo, conditioner, lotion were actually very good). Coffee provided and even makeup remover wipes. They have it all. Good high pressured shower Air conditioner/heating unit worked well Plenty of pillows Parking is limited, but in the...

Hello Carriemariec05! Thank you for choosing the Inn! I'm so sorry to hear about the cheesecake. As a fellow lover of cheesecake, I fully understand the frustration of the expense and disappointment in finding that thrown away. I've spoken with my housekeeping staff supervisor, and suggested they speak with our staff in future check-out procedures. I'm so glad to hear...

I chose this hotel to get away from the typical downtown tourist area, so the location appealed to me. The decor was funky and best described as "candy" in hotel form. Fittingly, you can find candy everywhere in the lobby area too. Free coffee available next to the reception desk and free breakfast each morning. Rooms were very big, though...

Hello Scott! Thank you for choosing the Inn! We get a lot of Willy Wonka references too, it's really fun! Our older building was converted to a hotel in the typical Portland spirit, and we love that it's nestled in a community of older buildings. Some of which are from when Portland became a city! How cool is that? We...

We recently stayed at the Inn at Northrup station on a week-long trip to Portland. We loved the funky, upbeat decor and well-appointed, immaculate room. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with high-end appliances, dishes, and flatware. We especially enjoyed the waffle-maker in the breakfast area adjacent to lobby - it made yummy waffles which we...

Loved this place, could easily live here! Friendly staff, sweeties in reception, good basic breakfast....what's not to love! Room had everything you could want, full kitchen, even an ice machine, little balcony, loads of space, even a yoga mat! Really nice area with some good restaurants and a great supermarket round the corner. Tram tickets available from reception to hop...

Hello Juniper275! Thank you for choosing the Inn! Aren't the rooms fun?! I'm glad you were able to explore our neighborhood. If you get a chance, I highly recommend 3 Monkeys on NW 23rd the next time you're here. That shop is awesome! James S.

What a cool hotel! The location is great. It's walkable to many popular shops and restaurants, and yet there is a free parking lot for your car. Plus, the inn has free streetcar tickets so you can take the Portland Streetcar around the city if you want. The decor is so fun and brightly colored. I loved the bowls of...

Hello Interviewtraveler! Thank you for choosing the Inn! I'm glad you enjoyed the neighborhood! Next time you're here, we know a bunch of cool and fun places to workout, including Planet Granite, that has a 3-story rock wall. So cool! There's also this really cool park called Forest Park that is perfect for trail running. We look forward to hosting...

Nice accommodations, kind staff and a comfy, clean bed. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars was the continental breakfast. We arrived a full hour before the end of breakfast service on a Sunday...and they were out of everything except coffee and cereal. Not cool.

Hello Barbara! Thank you for choosing the Inn! I'm so glad you enjoyed the room, however, I'm sorry to hear about your breakfast experience. I've spoken with our breakfast attendant to make sure that we keep ourselves fully stocked, and our guests energized for their day. We look forward to hosting you again, and another chance at super-charging your morning!...

This artistic hotel is clean, accommodating and completely equipped for long stays. Rooms are colorfully furnished and equipped with a small kitchen, as well as a seating area and sleeping area. We stayed here for 4 nights in late March and LOVED it! Everything about this Inn was just right. Great location - in a nice neighborhood with easy walking access to charming shopping and restaurants and right on the streetcar line for easy access to downtown. Plus the added bonus that the Inn gives you complimentary street car passes. Great...

What a wonderful hotel for Portland week-end! Parking(free) on site, streetcar stop right outside, good breakfast, all wrapped in artsy, urban setting. I'm picky about towels/sheets. Our bedding was soft; towels 'fluffy'. Most of all, we appreciated the staff: for first timers to Portland, they were fantastic, w/ideas to supplement our own exploration! Complimentary passes for streetcar-icing on the cake!...
