I stayed here for a couple nights. The hotel is very stylish with a large lobby and lots of seating (FYI- the restaurant is closed). The room was clean and the staff was so friendly! However I was left with the impression that the surrounding area is sketchy.
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I have never encountered more helpful and friendly staff before. The hotel was very modern. If you are going to stay in the city, stay here. This is your safest option. Hotels outside the Pearl District are boarded up (due to riots) and have homeless tents outside the entrances. When we drove around downtown, we were relieved we chose this hotel. There is a rooftop patio, an indoor pool, and a gym. Due to covid, breakfast was in a take-away bag and maid service was limited but the staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. It is difficult to park in the Pearl District so I recommend just paying for valet. It is a little expensive ($40 a day) but your car is safe.
I’m Compelled to write a review after having a great weekend experience at the Hampton Inn and Suites in the Pearl District in Portland Oregon. If you’re in Portland and want a sure win I highly recommend this hotel. We arrived to Prompt, on-point valet service! Welcoming, attentive, professional front end staff. Our room was immaculate! Hotel Location was ideal as we explored all over Portland. All around easy- no hassle stay, high end, good value $. I will go back. COVID-19 respectful and professional. Cheers! 354 NW 9th Avenue Portland, Oregon 97209 -Brandon
Thanks to Brenda and staff for making our family reunion memorable and safe. The accomodations were modern, clean and with Hilton's Clean Stay Program you felt safe and assured from all the worries of the pandemic - thank you for doing all the right things. cannot wait to return!
We stayed here for 3 days. Location is great, hotel is well maintained and clean. During check-in were mentioned that house keeping will be provided only when asked for in the front desk. Next day asked for housekeeping, gave the room number, staff at the front desk, said it will be done. Later when returned in the evening, the room was bad and not cleaned, when asked was said it was missed and all housekeeping staff have left hence got to put up with the unclean room. We understand breakfast is limited due to COVID. But a fruit, bar and water bottle, that's terrible. Had poor pillows too.
