Tbh a few of the employees there have been kinda rude or short with most customers that i have noticed... so i wasn't very impressed at 1st. But sabrina at the front desk as well as the strawberry blonde night shift at the front desk as well stole the show and truly work 10 times harder than everyone else to make up the difference at Country inn. Every morning the breakfast is slopped together with NO REGARD for the customers who are expected to eat it (with attitude and refuses extra helpings for our sleeping families) i was not happy at all. But when i told sabrina she apologized profusely and even offered to make in the cooks sted! It truly made all the difference in the world that those REALLY do try to make your paying customers stay more comfortable and i will absolutely come back because of it! Thank you girls from the bottom of my heart …
We spent one night on February 11th before our trip to Hawaii. There was an oily substance all over our sheets, a cigarette burn hole on the mattress and a white substance on the couch. We requested a new set of sheets but the ones that the shuttle driver brought to our room did not fit so we requested to be put in another room. The alternative that we ended up with was the last room available, it was much smaller than what we paid for, and it sounded like a wind tunnel all night long. Not to mention that room had not been properly cleaned either. Someone's phone charger was left behind as well as some small thing with two AA batteries. So gross. Neither one of us got any sleep before our early flight. Never again. The housekeeping staff clearly needs to have the work they are doing cleared by a second person, particularly in the day and age of Covid.…
Staff completely unprepared for snowstorm. Parking lot was a mess, unplowed, un-salted, un-sanded, un-shoveled. Husband had to shovel us into a HANDICAPPED spot after getting stuck. Slippery, dangerous entry should have been dry-mopped. Stained furniture and bed linens in room; dusty bathroom. Room shakes from nearby jets taking off and landing. Overpriced! Not close to anything! One staff member tried to be helpful. Awful experience.
We recently booked a trip to Maui and used this hotel as our lodging before our trip. THEN.. Portland experienced one of their infamous ice and snow storms and we were stuck there an extra night. They bent over backwards to make our stranded stay as good as it could be. They moved us to a larger room for our stranded night and charged their lowest nightly rate. You can’t beat their customer service!!!
Really helpful staff. Overall great property and experience. The winter storm took out our power and we couldn’t find anywhere to stay because everyone was booked. Thankfully we got a room here. Beautiful rooms and a great staff. Overall 10 out of 10.
