We had an amazing time staying at this hotel during our trip to Portland. The location is super central, allowing you to comfortably walk or take a scooter to many trendy shops, bars and Cafes in the area. They offer 2 happy hour services, and will text you answers to any inquiries you have. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the hotel gym has basic gear required to keep up fitness routines and offers chilled face towels and a water cooler. Will stay here again when I return to Portland
The hotel staff was friendly. In general post-pandemic travel is different because you have less staff interaction. For example, instead of staff serving wine at happy hour you get packaged wine or champagne that you can drink in the lobby or room. There is a dimly lit old school bar that serves food and drinks. The bar offers a happy hour but it not complimentary. Also, there is no room service. There is a gym but I opted for the gym kit, which includes a yoga mat, small yoga ball, and 2lb weights. Gracie's restaurant is limited to brunch but the brunch selection is good and the food is tasty. Gracie's has a beautiful old school decor. The hallways are full of lack and white pictures. Beware if you are a heavy packer because you will need to carry your luggage up one flight to the lobby for check-in. There is a wheelchair lift and an elevator once you get to the first floor.…
Spacious room with a walk-in closet so it doesn’t feel like a hotel room. Wonderful staff! Excellent location. Cozy bar with an excellent selection and experienced bartender! Easy walk to Pearl district.
We had the most beautiful stay here. The staff is the reason for the 5 stars. It’s been awhile since we have experienced such excellency. Hotel DeLuxe is our favorite stay in Portland. Thank you, M.S.
This is a very strong 5 star! We stayed here for three nights in summer. Excellent experience overall. Classical art decos. Walking distance to hip restaurants and bars. Clean room and great service. Happy hour drinks and bike rentals are included. Breakfast is not included, but the restaurant has a verity of good choices for breakfast and lunch.
Thank you so much!!! This was an awesome stay! My daughter and I appreciate everything you did for us!! We will be back!! Also your restaurant was amazing!!!! The German pancakes were the best! The entire experience I will never forget.
I was treated well and the room was clean and orderly. Love the historic atmosphere. Located close to many places to eat and see some of the historic places in Portland. The parking garage is right across the street and easy access.
This place was absolutely lovely to stay in, there were many things to do within walking distance as well. The service was amazing and the staff were very friendly. They greeted us whenever we entered and left the lobby. Very clean and perfect place to stay for a couples get away. I absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely be coming back.
Great for a wedding getaway. Great decor, theme, well maintained, had modern touches, but clearly a getaway and for people who appreciate historical stays. Nice to be close to downtown food, books and coffee the Portland things. The bar was nice. Staff were attentive friendly and caring
It was 100 degrees on the streets of Portland on July 26 when I arrived at the Hotel deLuxe. But a cool 68 easily adjustable degrees in my room. It's an older building (over 100 yrs old) and consequently solidly built. There could be a tap dancing convention next floor up and you'd never hear them. The property has been well maintained and kept up to date. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. Lots of giant photos from classic black and white movies on the walls. The cherry on top is Gracie's restaurant on the first floor, A classic room, with great food and service at a reasonable price. Go for breakfast or lunch even if you're not staying here.
