Beautiful hotel, great location, super friendly staff, and the free cookies were delicious. Comfiest bed I have ever had at a hotel. I never sleep well away from home, so me sleeping is a big deal! Will definitely be back anytime I am in Portland.
What I liked Best? Their bed (pillows and down comforter)! It is in our top 3 favorite beds of all time! My wife and I travel twice a year for the past 14 years and there was only 2 places where the bed was so comfortable, it made our trip. Hotel Rose just got added to the list. We usually are restless in a new place and don't sleep well, but this entire bed was like sleeping in the clouds. We truly miss that bed. The location: We have never been to Portland and was worried about what we've seen on the news. Yes, there are homeless but we weren't scared to walk to the Pearl district mall, Powell's Bookstore and the Saturday Market. They kept to themselves and there isn't a lot in the area. (I heard not to go to Chinatown, especially when it's dark) The Staff: Clarke at the front desk took good care of us. Richard at the bar was great. This isn't a big box hotel which made it more intimate and welcoming. The room was standard size. Very modern and very clean! If you are looking for a good location and a good nights rest, you have to stay(pineapple) at Hotel Rose.…
Friendly staff. Great ammenities. One of the most comfortable beds that I have slept on (maybe I don't have the best bed at home). Free drink on staying there. Good meals at the Bottle & Kitchen. Great location as well.
My partner and I stayed here for one night to have a little getaway from Seattle. We really enjoyed our stay! We had everything we needed and more. The location was great and in walking distance to everything downtown. One of the bigger reasons I chose this hotel was because covered parking was included in my reservation, which was important to me! We were able to just drive up and park right outside the hotel so no meters or hauling bags down the street. The customer service desk was amazing and everyone was so helpful and sweet. Would definitely stay here again!
I stayed at hotel rose (stay pineapple) in portland. The first two hours my car got broken into (not at the hotel but in the city) and if it weren’t for the staff and their kindness and helpfulness the weekend would have been completely ruined. The bartender, Richard, bless his heart was so nice and sweet. He took care of me and my friend and really made us feel safer after the experience we had. He was so friendly and just a genuine person. The front desk manager, Kennedy was so helpful after learning about our situation and my car. He got maintenance to come look at my window (or lack of) and to tape it up for our drive home and also gave us a free drink at the bar (which was definitely needed and very appreciated!) if it weren’t for these two gentlemen I don’t think the trip to Portland could’ve been saved. The hotel is in downtown and there’s a lot of homeless but we felt safe overall at the hotel. Can’t recommend the city of Portland, but can absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you again Richard and Kennedy, we really appreciated your hospitality and kindness!…
The Guest Services Manager, Kennedy Oloya always goes out of his way to make sure all of your needs are taken care of. He is the main reason when we go to Portland we stay at the Hotel Rose. The rooms are clean and the local restaurants are great and river view make this the place for us.
Michelle and the other employees were awesome! We stayed for a week, it was our first trip extended away from home in over 10 years and it was awesome! Service was excellent and the employees were very friendly and helpful, room were clean and comfortable, the hotel and bar was a wonderful place to relax after a long day of exploring!!
What a great little hotel! Damien was very friendly, efficient, and helpful at check-in. The room was quiet with amazingly soft pillows, blankets and a cozy bed! We felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Close to the waterfront and an easy walk to the Portland Saturday Market.
Staff very friendly, walls are incredibly thin, my sheets were damp, it was humid in my room, charged me 70$ upfront instead of the advertised 20$. When we arrived there was a homeless man outside overdosing with ambulance on sight. I spent $234 for one night
We stayed at Hotel Rose in Portland, Oregon with our 3 dogs (Great Dane, Lab and Havanese) and we had a blast! The entire staff were so friendly and lovely (especially Kat and Kennedy). The beds and towels were super lovely and the dog amenities (dog bed, treats and bowls) were pawsome! We loved the location being across from grass field for the dogs and a few blocks from good shopping (no tax!). We will definitely be staying at more StayPineapple chains for future stays!
