We had never stayed at Cooper Spur but got a great Groupon deal. The log cabin was spacious and lovely; we appreciated the full kitchen so we could cook all our meals onsite. The hot tub was fabulous. We didn't know about the continental breakfast, so that was a nice surprise. It was light (yogurt, cereal, muffins/bagels, coffee) but nice....

Yes – we concur that the Groupon deal that we ran this fall is a tremendous value and when you double it up with a stay in a cabin/condo unit, where you can make your own meals – it is so economical it is almost ridiculous! So happy that you and your family had such a great time here with...

Had an excellent stay! The cabin was perfect for our group of 7. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything to prepare a large dinner and breakfast. Even went for a morning jog on the mile and a half trail around the property. Highly recommended.

Thank you – we are so glad that you got to stay here with us and enjoying some of what we have to offer – from experiencing our cabin and cooking your own meals, to our little mtn bike/hiking trail system that we have right behind the restaurant. Glad you enjoyed yourselves and we hope that you come back again...

Great place to stay - the cabin was huge, clean and comfortable. I only wish we could have stayed longer! (Just make sure you watch the nightly pricing - it changes through the week as well as the season.)

We are so glad that you were able to come stay with us – yes, we too wish it could have been longer. With our new tier pricing, the prices do change from week to week, season to season, as well as the weekends. Hope you can come back and stay with us again – we would love to see...

Visited for two days. The rooms were neat and extremely clean as was the entire resort. The staff was most friendly and accommodating. The happy hours in the Crooked Tree Tavern offered up a wonderful fare at reasonable prices. The dining room food was excellent! So good that on the second evening, we opted not to eat in Mt. Hood...

Love to hear that you had such a great time with us up here and that you came back for dinner when you had other options. I have to say, we do have quite a nice little place nestled up here in the woods and that we are reasonably priced with excellent service all around. Thank you for such a...

Cabins are clean and comfortable. Restaurant/Tavern food is excellent. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Was pleasantly surprised by television programming and Wi Fi. Really have no complaints except that wish cabins had more full bathrooms.

Everything about our stay here was wonderful. We arrived late on a Friday night and ate at the restaurant. Great food and service! Our room was cozy and was well stocked for all four of us. Close to the Hood River Fruit Loop and gave a great recommendation for a hot breakfast at the Wake and Bake just up the...

We had an amazing time! The cabins are adorable and easily accommodates two families with 4 kids and 2 big dogs. The kitchen was well stocked and modern. The kids loved their circular staircase to their loft (ages 9-12 - would not work well for little ones). There was a large dog bed and dog bowl awaiting our furry children...

On late evening drive in the foothills of Mt. Hood, we stumbled upon this inviting resort around a bend in the road. Cozy room, well-appointed and very clean - entry protected by enclosed walkway that must be very useful during cold weather. Welcoming, fully-stocked bar with quite competent bartender. Continental breakfast somewhat sparse, but adequate. Staff was very pleasant. We...

You couldn't ask for a better wedding location!! Friendly service, wonderful food and majestic views. We stayed in a condo which is roomy. The only negative is the need for better lighting, esp. in te bedrooms.

Rooms and cabins are comfortable and the setting is, as advertised, in the woods. I can't add much to the very positive comments already shared by other travelers. If you need to be near town and trinket shopping this isn't your place. I would add that the menue offered for dinner is outstanding. The quality of the food is such...

Yes – we are in the woods!! The closest “town” if you would call it that, is the small community of Parkdale. It does have several grocery stores, a gas station and a multitude of restaurants and its own brew pub, but if you are looking for tourist/trinket shops, you will have to travel about 23 miles North to Hood...
