Studio unit reserved for RCI guest is a 2 bedroom divided, but without a real divide...only a paper thin door between the 2 units. Our neighbors woke up at 6:30am every morning, which is fine, except we could hear every single move they made and every single word they said.

We booked a king panoramic room here as a luxury treat after 3 days of hiking and rustic accommodations. Upon arrival we learned you have to park in a lot and either walk to the not so close rooms or put your flashers on your car and wait for the staff in the golf carts to come pick you up and take you to your room. We were tired, had to use the bathroom and were hungry and after waiting for almost 10 mins we decided to grab all our stuff and just “hike” to the room. On our way the staff in golf cart picked us up and took us to the building where our room was where we schlepped all of our own backs up 2 flights of stairs. Once in the room we sat at the table to eat to find small bits of dried food on it. We cleaned the table, ate, then went to the beach to see the sunset. Came back to room to shower and get ready for bed. As I took my shoes off I noticed toe nails on the floor. We called the front desk to let them know and they asked if we wanted someone to come vacuum. It was late and we had been on the road all day so we declined the option for room service to come vacuum. The front desk staff said they would pass the complaint onto the morning staff. Getting in the shower we noticed that the towels are old and dirty, and the floors and baseboards where filthy. At this point we were to exhausted and it was to late for us to try to find a new hotel. We decided to lay down to watch tv a bit to relax before going to bed. Well, after trying to watch several different channels it was very apparent that the streaming service they have was not working well as the shows continued to freeze and lag. The layout of the facility is confusing as best. On our way to our car to go to the beach (it is not a quick walk to the beach from the rooms) there was another couple who flagged us down because they had been literally walking in a circle around the facility not knowing how to get back to the parking lot. We had better accommodations out in the woods while hiking. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Very disappointed!

Beautiful Ocean front views, well maintained units and grounds, great 'like private; beach with tidepools, wooded area with walking trail to nearby 'Devil's Pumchbowl" and several shops. Units are very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Loved the gas fireplace for atmosphere. We were pleased to see the Sunshine every day, interspersed with some rain showers. It was cool, but expected for this time of year. For an outstanding meal -try 'Local Ocean' at the end of old Bayfront Newport area -fresh and creative entrees and cocktails!

Unit had beds in one section and full kitchen and living room in adjoining section. The smaller unit had a mini Kitchen (microwave and refrigerator) plus shower. Large unit had shower, full kitchen and living room with large screen TV. Pool was available to reserve for family use. Same for hot tub. Sanua was closed. Nearby whale watching boat was a disappointment. Twice canceled--rough seas.

The air smells liken burning garbage. The view given is poor. They baited and switch the room on my. On the website is look nice. The bathroom walls have dirt smears and paint chips missing. A handle on the shower towel hanger is broke and hanging on one side. WHY? The railing and some of the deck has green slime. So yep, No touching it or leaning on it to see a view you payed for. Now, the unlocked door to another room is creepy to me. The quality of my room with a open door to enter reminded me of a very bad horror movie. So, i found away to secure the door closed. Not sure how i made it three days here. I chose to leave early. The Blonde lady at check had a bad attitude towards me about leaving early. I checked out a hour before needed, But, she charged me for a day for leaving early.
