We stayed in one of the little cabins for a weekend getaway. It was nice - and the beach access is amazing. the structure of the buildings leaves a bit to be desired - they are very slanted and could use some true updating - maybe a bit more cleaning as well. We came only to find that the manager...

My family, including grandparents, aunt, uncles, and cousins, rented one of the larger cabins for the weekend to celebrate my grandparents' 80th birthdays. I was impressed by how spacious and well supplied the "cabin" was, even if the decor was beyond outdated. I slept on a couch, but my parents told me the mattress they slept on was terribly uncomfortable....

My family and I stayed in cabin #3, for 2 nights. The cabins are quaint and funky, as many other posts have mentioned. We never look for luxury - we look for location, and we look for character, so we thought Happy Camp would be perfect. My partner and I love Netarts, and were happy to stay somewhere local, affordable,...

This is our 3rd or 4th stay @Happy Camp and it is never a disappointment. You are steps away from the beach staying in these funky, old cottages that Teresa has stocked with everything you need. We were in #7 this time and it's as great as #5 (previous stay). The floors are crooked and the cottages are old and...

My grandmother took me to Happy Camp in the 60's. I wanted to stop in and see the place again. It's still the most beautiful beach I've seen. Camping is no longer an option, just vacation rentals. Great people, and memories!"Thanks Teresa, for taking such good care of it.

My boyfriend and I came here for an off season vacation and we were so happy to stay at Happy Camp again. We were in #9 which is at the end of the driveway and more secluded than the other cabins. It has it's own fenced porch/patio and an outdoor fireplace. There were a few things that threw off our...

We loved everything about Happy Camp! We stayed in Cabin 14 which offers great views from a very modern condo. This spacious unit can sleep up to 8 and with 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. We comfortably shared it between 3 couples. We almost didn't book this unit when we saw that the 3rd bedroom had bunk beds, but...

We have been going to Happy Camp for over 8 years. We always stay in cabin #4. We love it. We go there for the crabbing and because Teresa & Bruce are so wonderful. We love the house and the view. We will continue to go there year after year. Best place on the coast.

We booked our stay based on the website and the reviews. We are staying in Cabin #2 and it is definitely a quirky little space. The floors are uneven which means you have to prop up the coffee maker to keep it from leaking. The kitchen is super tiny, but most people probably either dine out or bbq when here....

We've been coming to Happy Camp for years, and the owners (Teresa and Bruce) have always been exceedingly helpful and friendly. If you want very modern accomodations, they have some new houses that they manage. If you want cheaper and a little rustic, their older cabins are right at the beach line, you can't get any closer. And little Netarts...
