My wife and I hand a nice noontime meal at The Painted Lady this afternoon in Myrtle Creek. In the British tradition, "high tea" is normally served as a snack between lunch and dinner. We chose to have the Queens Tea meal at noon that included English Tea, chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered orange slices, cucumber sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, and tea cakes. For desert we had strawberry ice cream and oreo cheese cake. It was delicious! Each room has a theme, and are decorated with many different kinds of paintings. The room where we ate was called "The Blue Room" and had many paintings of old sailing ships. We will definitely go back! Maybe we will stay in one of the rooms at there B&B.
We enjoyed a wonderful tea Saturday, May 11, 2019. We had our reservation at 2pm, 4 of us in attendance. Our tea was called Queen Tea, $25.00/person. The venue is a quaint, Victorian home with nice decorations of the era. Our food was delicious with several courses. A few things we enjoyed; savory scones, cucumber sandwiches, elderberry scones, chicken curry sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries/ oranges, cake, pie and many other items. Everything was fresh and home made. Of course we had lots of tea and water too. For the price, atmosphere, service and friendliness of the staff it was worth every penny. Come hungry because we had lots of leftovers. I would recommend for that special time with family and friends.
We’ve stayed in about 100 bed and breakfasts over the years, you wont find a cuter place or a better breakfast. Extremely clean, every attention to detail, high-quality throughout, Wendi was a delight. World Class breakfast served on antique China. Yum! Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM make sure to visit their restaurant and tea room in the same beautiful Victorian home.
We had dinner here and it was amazing! 7 courses of exquisite food The service that is impeccable! Lots of flavors and textures but for the “average” pallet. The value is incredible for what you get. I’m planning another trip to go back So worth every penny you spend
What an unexpected treasure The Painted Lady B&B turned out to be. We were traveling home to Portland after 10 days on the road and realized we were just too tired to continue. We were so fortunate to find this lovely B&B tucked away in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. Everything was so comfortable, beautiful, full of charming details, and provided just the respite we needed. Wendi is so delightful and makes you feel so welcome. Our experience could not have been better. We left the next morning refreshed by a great night's sleep, a scrumptious breakfast, and our soul's warmed by her beautiful fellowship! It was truly a 5* experience! We will be back, and next time to enjoy her tea room too!
